Guess im in the minority here for "not getting derpstep". To me it sounds mostly usually just mediocre trance/electronical tracks that instead of the usual trance beat, have instead more complicated dubstep bassline going bowwW0WowoW0Wowoo00oo00oOOoowww at some point and then people going all "mad drop bruv dat was so filthy!" about it. I do actually like it, mildly, just don't get the massive hype personally. Been even once to dubstep party couple years ago, but it left me kinda cold, mostly just liked the DnB'ish stuff there. Maybe im just getting old...

But matters of taste said the dog while licking its own balls. My intention isn't to start genrewars here or anything.

I'll be honest, I'm well over dubstep, but songs still happen that remind me why people like it so much. it's just one small niche' in a large arsenal of music I enjoy, that encompasses just about every genre there is. it would be impossible, and very narrow minded to try and pit one genre against the other. I'd much rather see the whole world, than know every little square inch of one room, in one house.

Oh God, no you're not. At all.

I listened to "Love" by Borgore, and it was literally the worst song I'd ever heard. Banal lyrics, a trash beat, no substance, an annoying "KRAING KRAING KRAING KRAING" sound being played over and over again... jeeeeeeeeeeesus. I know not all dubstep is like that, but it forever tarnished my opinion of the genre - wanted nothing to do with it ever.

Anyway...
