    AAO Changes to Perks

    Add All Offense will only be applied to weapon skills and weapon specials.
    Edit: Apparently I miss read this. It would be much more clear if the pdf specifically stated how attack and def checks for perks will be calculated.

    Add All Offense will only be applied to weapon skills and weapon specials.

    Perks that have previously been easy to land because of this will have a lower defense check.
    If the attack check is being nerfed, but the defensive check is also being nerfed to compensate, why bother changing how it works?

    AMS or wepon skill.
    so ur rifle and AS dependant perks will still benefit from AAO.
    just not ur tradeskill or nanoskill based perks.

    the AAD added to NR for perks checking NR same as AAO was added to the perks.
    AAD is generally higher then AAO from items etc so most perks checking against NR will be easier to land.

    Because a bunch of AAO made perks reliant on AMS work "twice" as good?

    If FC doesn't want AMS perks to be "better" than the other perks why is the defensive check being lowered then?

    So casting profs can remove AAO gear.

    The PDFs that Funcom released a week or so ago don't show AI general perklines so far, but I didn't see any prof specific perks that have these "lower defense checks" so far.

    Combat profs need to keep an eye on this in case we get shafted.
