    I've tried that, but the problem I have is that my menu is 5 - 10 pixels too far up so that I can't see it at all, but I can access its menus still through the Ctrl+Shift+F7. How do I get it so I can move it down?

    Thanks for your outstanding support on maintaining the skin!

    I now uploaded new versions of the skin which are for all users who did not fix the skin from the given instructions.

    thanks for the update and your great GUI's!

    just noticed that the menu that is usually at the top right is gone, got a fix?


    3rd edit: fixed it with help on front page

    4th edit: seems that it disappears again on relog.

    menus are showing up on my gui..

    But the Cred/aggdef isn't showing up

    Yes did the FAQ on teh first page.. but something odd

    _cc_right_bar isn't in the Cntrl+Shift+F7 list..

    Installed correctly afaik..

    My GUI settings still aren't saving on any toon. They show up in DistValues after I enable them in Preferences, but disappear when I log off.

    Updated the skin, Creds/aggdef bar are showing. But the menus aren't. Help!
    I tried to fix it with the FAQ, but the values for those listed are not even there to begin with.

    I also found issues with the 18.1 (Notum) variant:
    - the loading screen is reverted to the default AO logo
    (- the Menubar status is not saved)
    - the fighting/nano target NCU windows can't be opened
    - the CityTerminal.xml is not updated to match the default GUI, which now lacks the controls used to pay city upkeep

    (When the GUI is installed as advised and activated through the setoption command, the flags controlling menubar visibility are not saved to any of the Prefs.xml files, and even removed if present; I'd guess this new "support for external GUIs" feature doesn't quite work with variables that are not originally part of the default GUI control variable set.
    If the GUI is installed the old way, by renaming the default GUI folder to something else and renaming the "Notum4" (or whichever) folder to "Default", the menubar status appears to be still saved/loaded properly.)

    As for the target NCU windows, the default GUI refers to them as "ShowFightTargetNCU" and "ShowNanoTargetNCU", but Notum has "ShowHostileTargetNCU" and "ShowTargetNCU" instead.
    After I replaced the relevant parts of CharPrefs.xml from the default GUI to Notum, the windows could be opened from the F10 menu; the names used in Notum appear to be wrong.

    This took some time to actually post, I see you've started looking into the menubar issue in the meantime.

    the menu button issue is actually a known bug that should be fixed next patch along with the loading screen

    Thanks for the NCU window advice. Will implement the fix this evening.

    With the menubar issue it seems we have to wait as sceneheard said. Seems the game loads these files from the "Default" folder...

    yeah, the GUIName command function completely ignores the custom template xmls CharPrefs & LoginPrefs

    Tried getting a link off the first post (notum edge), to fix my default gui woes, with failure.

    Then tried using the edit-files solution on page 51, with no noticable change. As almost every change suggested was already inside the file, clearly Misat0 added these things.

    If you'll look at the screenie, its not as it should be. How do I fix this?

    doing that reload menus thing makes no changes. Restarting makes no changes.

    -The sidebar is half wide.
    -The agg def bar is also half-wide.
    -The bottom blue bar is not at the bottom.
    -The little top bar isnt a top bar, just buggered up default icons.
    -The compass appears to be broken and stuck in a corner.

    Not a clue how to fix this junk. Is this problem my fault with an obvious solution I should know about, or is it just wierdness?

    that's really weird.
    Did you use the Guiname to install notum next to the Default dir or did you try replacing the 18.1 Default folder?
