Last year, during Halloween, there were a bunch of not-so-nice guys with pumpkins for heads. They coincided with the introduction of the first static dungeon: Steps of Madness.
I don't know much more, because, as I said, I was too much of a coward to go check them out

Indeed it is an item that goes into one of the Util slots. I'll still stand that specific item won't be showing up by Halloween, as for the Pumpkin heads and their Childhood memories. . .
On a related note where did you remember seeing the pumpkinheads spawn at? I remember them to the North of Lush Hills Resort, Omni Forest and Greater Omni Forest. Being Omni and a low level at that time I didn't voyage into the Northern lands to see if there was any up there.
