Is AO engine going to be "light" version of AoC engine, or practically the same (DX9 part at least)? Asking this because AoC is pretty sluggish lately, on the same hardware I have.

Well, in Tortage it runs fairly well on my setup too (3 GHz dual core, AMD Kuma, coupled with 8800 GT and 4 GB RAM). It's the Khitai region that "kills" it.
