Try to click on "Set default" first, then on "Change". This solved the issue for several people.

First Id like to say GREAT WORK!! with the hud mod!!!! it has made my life easier in AO!!

Now I dont know if anyone has noticed, but the mods is missing the fling shot shortcut. If someone knows if this is an actual glitch or knows how to make it show please let me know.

Please specify what shortcut you're talking about. The skin shouldn't alter your keyboard shortcuts for example, but you may check to which key Fling Shot is bound.

when he said shortcut I thought he might've meant the button, from the action window or something, the keyboard shortcut makes alot more sense.

I was looking for the HUD mod that you were working on, its not on the first post at all, is that available yet somewhere?

Thats correct, the icon from the action menu on the side bar. The actual keyboard shortcut works fine

Ok. I'll have a look into it. But this list of actions is eventually generated by the game so normally there is not much I'll be able to do.

Bumping since it was on page 3, and I'm reinstalling my client.

Is it updated for 17.10, or do I have to manually apply the latest "fixes"?

17.10 isn't on live servers yet, so there's really no point unless you're "raiding" on test.

Hehe...no prob...99% sure there were no GUI changes in 17.9 patch so the 17.8 version would be the most current. I just downloaded a different flavor (went from Darktech back to Dovvetech) and it works fine.

Oki, now I'm confused...
One of the reasons I did a reinstall was that I lost the thousand-separator in credits.
Now.. on a fresh reinstall, I still don't have it...
Anyone know if this is in GUI or somewhere else I can get it back???

Tried both with default GUI and Notum.

AO use your OS' localization settings for such things as the thousand separator.
Try adjusting your localization settings.

I've recently released my patcher (it's called "Demoders Patcher" (surprice)).
It's capable of patching AO planetmaps and AO guis.

I'm wondering if you are interested in setting up 'patch servers' for your GUIs?
If you don't want to touch the patcher, that's fine. If you would rather have me (or someone else) run the 'patch servers', that's fine too.

A patch server is really just a directory with some files in it. No scripts or anything. All it takes is to have a website that you can update the patchserver content to.

Please note that these are not full archives.
You have to have one of the skin variants at version 4.17.8.0a installed! (You can find download links for those in the first post of this thread.)
Then just extract one of these archives to your "Anarchy Online Test" folder, overwriting exsisting files when asked to.

Hmmm, I seem to have a problem with the little Menubar and mini toolbar. By default they're in the top right hand corner.

How do I get them onto the bar at the bottom of the screen like in the preview screenshot?

I took a screenshot to better illustrate what I mean, just in case I sound confusing.

I'm knew to this whole thing really, the instructions were pretty clear so that's how I installed it with no problem. I apologize if this is something I should already know how to do.

Q: How can I change the position of menu buttons?
A: Perform these steps:
Open your "Anarchy Online\cd_image\gui\default\Views" folder.
Delete or rename the file "ControlCenter.xml".
Rename one of these files
"ControlCenter_BL.xml" for bottom left,
"ControlCenter_BR.xml" for bottom right,
"ControlCenter_TL.xml" for top left or
"ControlCenter_TR.xml" for top right
to "ControlCenter.xml".
