Technically money isnt much either, as you cant buy the kind of buffing you can get from a QL300 tower site. Imagine how hard you would raid for something like an item that gives bonuses like 250-275 towers. Its all just a game anyways, so its hard really to say that anything is more something than anything else.
i can and i do... towers = PvM or do you kill players to gain the advantages? do you plant players to gain the advantages? no its installations you kill/plant/use and they are clearly no players so its PvM.
So towerwars are PVM, now thats a new one for me.

Blaming the profession is a poor excuse for being a poor excuse in pvp.
tradeskilling was my engis main function but was often called to tower defense the trick was to pick my fights carefully. most time i would pick on melee proffessions and found i did my part. mostly never did duels knowing that i was somewhat nerfed due to tradeskilling. altho i was very careful to not waste ip if there was armor/buffs to be had. it take about 10 mins to swap all items out to go tradeskill mod a little longer to go pvp mod but mostly run around in pvm mod. with LE out I am resetting tradeskills. maybe i can max AS and evades then be less picky about my fights.
I can tradeskill 200 imps and others with no IP in tradeskills.. so 3

Tradeskilling dont bring in enough creds to stop the majority of engies to reset TS with the full IPR. Ofcourse the effect is theres now lack of tradeskillers, and ppl start tipping. ATM i got enough tradeskills to make ql300 AI and stuff with city. Getting full arith will enable me to TS on the spot again. Going for 'multi purpose' option similar to what hugenick is doing, so pvp and good pvm dmg as well. Option 3 if i ever learn to pvp :P
