This is really true, my org uses shades to farm inferno bosses for inf key quests. If a shade or MA can solo it, they solo it the fastest, but they cant solo quite as tough things as advies but it takes advies longer. Then so much more so for docs (can solo the toughest bosses, just takes forever - my 214 doc can solo Penumbra catacomb bosses and most things in inferno). Engis are far below shades on the list of top soloers.

Most skills are in the 500ish range and i'm now lvl 130.

To be honest I see little interest in raising tradeskills before you hit Title 6 and are ready to make some of the really wanted stuff easily.

Of course, if your org has no tradeskiller or if you are a pocket engineer, raising skills earlier is understandable. But as for myself I waited until 195... and still not maxed, only what I need.

lawl i had as maxed tradeskills as i could since level 1..
who wants to wait till tl6 to make all those implants for your alts, etc?

By the way, at lvl 200 i have all ablities, almost all nanoskills, almost all tradeskills, pistol, fling, burst, multi ranged maxed and evade clscombat almost maxed, and a bit in dodge ranged, and maxed runspeed..

Wouldn't it be possible to reset pistol, fling, burst, multi ranged and put instead all evades, nano resist, just enough rifle to equip a ql200 rifle and maxed aimed shot, with tradeskills too? (rifle skill doesn't affect AS right? so you can just twink as much rifle as u need to equip it as you won't hit anyone with it anyway, just AS)

edit: But, if on the thread title, having "tradeskills" means IP in tradeskills or your equipment setup, that would be completely different... an engi with maxed tradeskills IP-wise but a pvp equipment setup would not compare to an engi with a tradeskill equipment setup in terms of tradeskills

I just rolled a crat to do psy. That leaves enough IP to max pistol burst and fling and do good damage with kyr 300 type 1, 199 type 4 combo, while still being able to
make ql300 AI armor.

I have 1800 ME EE QFT WS PT NP PSY CHEM and i have a ql 300 carbine type3 with as/fs/re maxed and i can self the OE now

so i guess im 3 as well
