As I said before. Nemesis nanos are by definition the opposite of balance and should ALL be removed, along with Gth and RI.
If for reasons of pride or whatever this can't happen then do max -30% reflect and leave it stacking with rrfe. But the trader also gets-4k nanoskills for the duration +40 secs.
That would mean the soldier doesnt insta die in a zerg situation and the trader won't get god mode, but it will still be a evry powerful debuff that the trader may choose when to use. Not spam it mindlessly like they do now.
Hi,
Scheol quest reward need a better reflect buff item. I need a good reason to do that quest.
secondly, the soldier normal reflect Pre-Nullity Field(self part) is only a little better +8% than rrfe. It is a TL7 nano, shouldnt it be much better that? I really prefer soldier defense to be more focus in reflect & reflect damage than anything else, not more healing* such as the perk that draw HP/ recover hp.

Scheol reward: reflects are getting hard-capped anyway, more won't help us.
Reflects: I don't agree that we need more reflects. We need heals or other stuff. Having to rely solely on reflects is what got us in this mess with BR/NT nukes/Engi aura in the first place. We need a mix of defences.
1. Change it to a 50k taunt
2. Make it apply to NANO target, not fighting target
3. Make it not require being in combat
For the assumed 2nd-best tanking class in the game, we're REALLY falling behind on taunting ability these days, as everyone's damage just keeps shooting through the roof. Can we convince the rebalancing team to take a look at the theoretical maximum taunt output of an enforcer versus a soldier against both 1 and multiple targets? The results of that comparison will be just silly.
This one. The problem is not us, it is them. I am just pointing out that we should be more specialize in reflect/reflect dmg and heal delta than adding heal It is like almost every prof have heal now. >_< and having to be reflect specialist we are just 8 reflect better than others thanks to rrfe.
Just my opinion anyway

Atm the devs are very busy with design and coding, but I've started a fresh round of BR-bashing to them and the other professionals.
You probably saw the post from Means which implied that the - reflect from BR would be reduced in severity on the target, but that it would likely still give the trader similar (capped) reflect.
Not only that, but he suggested that BR would be castable on anyone with reflects to make it more useful. He didn't say whether it would castable on anyone with RRFE or not, or what a targets reflects would have to be at in order to be BRable. But it could mean that we're BRable just with Prenul up.
That is obviously completely different from every suggestion and discussion that Berinda and I and the other professionals had with the devs, and if I don't get any further details in one week's time I'm going to start getting extremely loud about this.
I've said clearly that this isn't good enough. BR should be removed, and if not removed replaced with a version that takes around 30% reflect from a target and gives the trader no more than 30%.
And if it stays BR should only be castable on a target with 80% plus reflect, to stop it from making tl5 solds even worse.
Ty for trying Q. Getting in a bad mood just reading about this.
Not only because my main prof doesn't seem to be getting un nerfed, rather nerfed. But because it's clear by now that the ppl who are set to balance this have demonstrated that they are clueless.
Clueless isn't good.
That sounds like a reasonable attempt to incite anger.
I know you don't play or PvP, so wouldn't benefit or lose out either way, but soldiers are actually concerned for people other than ourselves who could be affected by what sounds like a horrible mistake waiting to happen.
And oddly enough, the traders agree with the soldiers on this one. As do the agents with the soldiers about RI.
Which just leaves you out
Why? Why do traders need it at all? The answer is they don't.
It's like giving soldiers double FA on enforcers.
And the idea of letting them take even our pre nul.. HOLY JESUS is there no limit to the cluelessness among the devs?
We wouldn't just not be able to ams, we would also be forced to run without ANY reflects or we'd just be free good mode sticks for traders 100% of the time.
FFS WTF IS THIS ****??
Dont know what made you think this.
The soldiers (my soldier too) were complaining about BR removing all their defenses.
With the suggested BR nerf the nano would not remove 100% reflects from a soldier so that is a nice fix.
The soldiers (my 220 soldier too) were complaining that the positive part of the nano makes trader immune to their dmg,
making it impossible for the soldier to kill the trader once soldier is BRed.
The suggested BR nerf would fix that too so now we could kill the trader even if he used BR on us.
Sounds like a nice fix on the broken nano.

Traders (your 220 trader too) quite like it, though, I bet ;P
I like the idea of BR taking away RRFE, but not our peni... PNS.
How about making BR take away -30%, only when AMS is up, and giving the trader +60%, which would remove their RRFE?
And how about WE get a hostile nano that cancels RRFE? We need more varierty in PvP, and since we're the masters of reflects, we should be able to take it away just as easily as we can give it.

Well my apologies. I thought you were soldier-bashing
However: a BR which could rip prenul would be horrible though, absolutely horrible, as would be one that can rip RRFE. Traders are going to be hard enough to kill with slower perk execution, ranged special nerfs, and a general move away from alphas.
