Set the bloody dragon free. Think up some whacked reason, and set the dragon free to roam the planet. As it stands now, there is always a set number of people making damn sure they are close as they can be to the critter to make sure that the highest dmg-dealers walk away with the loot.

Why not make it so that the dragon spawns at random locations across the planet. Make it non-aggro, or aggro only to levels 150 and up (not a set number, just an example) and have it fly around. Don't restrict it to certain areas, give it freedom to move around.

This way, the dragon may spawn in Avalon, Omni Forest, DAV, Mort or even Tir county. Bacause of it being non-agressive or only aggressive to higher levels, this is a way for the low level players to actually get a glimpse of it. And now there will be a hunt to find the bugger once it's killed. Keep a certain spawntime if needed, but set it to an hour for instance, but make sure it spawns somewhere else every time, at random.

Low level players will not be stupid enough to go and attack it, while the high levels need to get themselves organized in order to get to it first once it has been sighted.

One thing needed done now though is the non-aggressiveness of towers to it or it to towers.

Just my thought on how to make the dragon worthwhile a little more.

Yalming up, deyalming and rooting the bugger while falling, making it fall to the ground and get *really* pissed.

Reminds me of that - weird - movie "Reign of Fire", where they actually jumped out of helicopters with nets to floor dragons.
