See the advanced store that sells backpacks... there are already "Large Backpacks" with special icons on them for that purpose.
But hey, colored ones would be kinda cool, too.

I think this is a good idea as well. At lower levels, most people can't afford to buy those backpacks with icons. At least I couldn't. And besides, it would amuse me to see an Atrox adventurer running around with a pink bag on its back.
