Actually, due to changes made over the years - meeping and fgrid ARE the defining aspect of fixers. Nothing else, except the long-hots and NCU, are unique to the profession and since both those buffs get tossed around like party favors, they sure don't feel unique. (None of my other characters can transport all over RK or SL like my fixer, whereas at least one of my other toons can do anything else my fixer does -- often equally well or better.)
