It is not "huge patch" its huge patches. The engine wont mean much in terms of content, same boring content from 2009. 2015-2017 is a more realistic projection when things that were promised like a decade ago are finally released.

Then, depending on what happens after, we might see some real content being pushed out the door and not these flavor of the month instances.

New content? Now that's a stretch...

Funcom needs to add character progression to this game.... i want my characters to be obsolete, so i have a reason to sub again for a full year, i don't want a back piece added to the game every 4 years. I want to vendor a full set of combined comando as shop food because there's a new and exiting area with new raids, armor and weapon for me.

If this never happen... is not my loss, there are many other attractive mmo's on the market for me to play right now. AO is not one of them.
