I just started today I'm almost done with the patches it has like 12 minutes left. Any Tips or does anyone wanna show me the ropes?

Check the beginner's board, it has a ton of tips for anyone starting out. Also check the board of whichever profession you are going to choose, that will help you out quite a bit.
