Allow me to explain a bit on how we hope to have questions and answers running from now on.
We get a lot of questions in several channels; Bulletin board, e-mail and IRC being the most important ones. Answering one e-mail gives answers to one person. Answering in IRC gives the info to about 100. Answering in a thread in the Game Mechanics forum hands out the information to... 600, if I make a generous guess.
Collecting all these, and posting them in this forum, then pointing everybody here (e.g. through the launcher and the main site news), hands out the information to thousands.
Get my drift?
Profession specific issues
To get purely profession specific information, people go to the profession forums. That's where fellow Adventurers, Agents, Bureaucrats and so on, hang out.
Hence, I request that you bring up profession specific issues through the profession forums. The Professionals are very good at picking up the issues and handing them over to us. We will then feed the answers back through them. This allows us a little more time for other forums and tasks, and give you better and more coherent answers.
And anybody flaming the Professionals on the forums will be in trouble. Got any issues with them? Send us an e-mail.
Other issues
All other issues will be answered here, and to avoid having hundreds of threads in the forum answering different issues, we want to make one or two threads each week where we give feedback and answers on all issues brought up lately.
These threads will be open for comments and follow-up questions, and moderated strictly to allow people to get their information without havig to dig through rants, flames and other unnecessary posts. They will also be sticky, at least until we get too many sticky threads in the forum.
Hot topics
Some issues create a lot of (often well founded) havoc. The recent level requirements issue - which blew up even more because of our lack of communication - is one very good example. Such issues will be handled individually - and immediately, with their own threads.
And no, that does not mean you can get any issue in an own thread by creating lots of noise around it. We will be more observant - and quicker to respond - than in the level requirement issue.

Soooo... any big flaws in this we haven't discovered yet? It will mean that you won't get an immediate answer (unless we know it already, and can type it in quickly), but you will get more answers, and you will know where to get them.
Flames unwanted. Sarcasm unneeded. Comments appreciated.
