Something I've notice in a lot of MMORPGs: Armor doesn't seem to do anything!

I'm still getting hit for 20, now that I spent all my money to get 400 AC, by the same annoying critters that hit me for 20 when I had 200 AC!

The only time AC really seems to have any kind of influence is in PvP when the fight is really lopsided (I'm talking level 4 vs. level 20) or in human mobs (I don't know if its some kind of bug or something, but whenever I fight certain human mobs, I only hit for 50% of what I normally do.)

This is only one of a list of grievances that I had spent about an hour typing out, but when I went to post I got some message about an unspecified forum and I lost the whole thing. >(

Armor works.

Fight monsters with 0AC and you will see the difference.

The whole 20 thing is minimum damage rearing it's ugly head.

Damage cannot (barring bugs) drop below min. This means that people who grossly overequip their armor will, for the most part, only be hit by min dmg from mobs.

Like the other guy said, try playing with 0AC then say AC does nothing.
