Although I do understand that the engineer profession is not ignored there are a few things that I'd like seen done to the profession to give it more indivuality from the the other pet based professions.
Enginners either fall into two catagories; support, the engie who dumps all of his money into armor buffs and trade skills and followes behind the big atrox enforcer.
-or-
Shock Troops; engies who dump all their points into their bot and let their bot clear the room then move on.
I'd like to see a scout pet, a pet that lures monsters to follow it then runs away form the engineer disrupting the scene. This pet would add multiple tactics to the engineer and lead the usually weak engineer away from the conflict. An exploding pet would be nice too, engies build bots, why can't the bots explode doing massave damage to all the monsters (or unlucky teammembers) to everything around it giving a possible nuke optiuon to engies.
Also one option that may not be as possble would be a remote control for your bot, so you can guide it manually into and out of situations from a first person view giving the engineer a tactical value to a team that no other group has.
Oh well those are my suggestions for new pets for the otherwise bland role of engineer pets. Take them for what they're worth.
