Cool, I've been hoping somebody would start off a wishlist thread for a third line of nukes. A nanopool/HP damage nuke would certainly fit the MP idea.
Questions to get the discussion going:
- Who's going to have a stab at giving some stats for it?
Would it hit for a flat amount of HP and Nano?
Would it be a HP hit and a Nano DoT? Would the DoT stack with itself?
Would it hit for more HP and less Nano... or maybe only Nano?
How many should be in the line?
What Nanoresist factor should it have?
What sort of level reqs should it have? (well we know they're going to have them whether we like it or not )
How much of our own nano would it cost us per nuke?
I look forward to the discussion already.

How about a 5% nano resistance check against anyone with some kind of debuff immunity.

But seriously, single nuke versions might attack both nano pool and hit points doing damage along the lines of the existing Mind Quake/Glacial Lance line...or slightly greater.
AOE nukes attack nano pool alone. The top end draining 1500-3000 nano pool.
2-4 second recharge
4-6 second execution time.
Resist Rates 100% for single version
AOE is 130%
Maybe Funcom can do something fun with that and make it based on something else in addition to nano resistance. Maybe Comp Lit since it involves the draining of bots.
Maybe...or maybe not...the -% nano cost buffs and items can be used to decrease the nano pool drainage caused by these nukes. Likewise, our MP debuff that increases % cost can increase the nano pool "damage" taken.

Some very cool ideas coming out here.
I kinda like the idea of the MP as being the master of nanopool and nanoskill. The creation armour idea in the wishlist that reroutes some damage to the nanopool and the redeisgn of Notum Rejection there all kind of fit with some of these ideas too.. the metaphysical world of Notum is supposed to be the MP's preserve - why shouldn't we be able to control its flow better?
Would you suggest hitting both nano and HP for 700-1200 at the top end then? Or would you hit Nano for 350-600 and HP for 350-600?single nuke versions might attack both nano pool and hit points doing damage along the lines of the existing Mind Quake/Glacial Lance line...or slightly greater

Did you see that as a top of the QL range extension to the single target ones? Or as a completely separate line?

Top end one depriving 1k nano from Foe and gives to me... all i got to say would kick ass ,,,, and make it cost 500 nano so the actual nano gained would be 500 for us and 1k loss for them

don't think you'll get AoE nukes. I believe Fc stated sometime that AoE nukes were like a defining ability for NT's. As they have basically already handed out most 'defining abilities' amongst the classes feel free to try though.
What would be a nice addition, or new nuke along the same lines is one that disables he/pnh.

This thread seems to have slowed to a halt, so I've taken the suggestions from Psi regarding attack/recharge and nanoresist and added it to the above suggestion. It's in the wishlist now as:
Nanopool Debuffing Nuke Line

In line with the MP's command over notum and nanoskill, the MP community would like to propose a new line of direct damage nanos with a focus on the PvP environment. This proposed line is modelled on the Mind series of nanos, but splits the damage in half and takes the other half from the Nanopool of the target.
