As for the one-hit-kill chests:
Here's a scenario:
Team does mission in BS
People go out to save before completing mission
Team completes mission
Chests are looted without risk
Chests are barely opened during team missions anyway. It would be interesting, however, if said chest would contain something actually useful that didn't drop elsewhere. Then there would be a reason to invest in trap disarm. Anything that makes a useless skill useful is good.
Still waiting for that adventuring skill to kick in
