Service Towers – the soloing alternative.

Just wondering how much these will help me if I wanted to try some outdoor hunting again.

Im guessing the NDA is keeping people from talking,
so could somone from FunCom give me some info on these Service Towers plz.

This is one of the main reason I would like to get NW.
I used to love to solo outdoors,
any thing that would help me do that again will make me think about buying NW.

Who has that kind of Mechanical Engineering to throw IP's around on? The other point is that they apparently hit like a wet noodle:

That's the one I could make at level 172 if I spent points in Mechanical Engineering. But, that's for a quality level 400 version. You have to multiply that damage by 15/40'ths to see how awful it really is. Puts it in the league of a Wen Wen. Also should be noted that once you place it, it doesn't move. So if you want to get the benefits of it, you best be in the middle of a spawn somewhere or be prepared to do some long range pulling once you run out of mob's in your immediate vicinity.

Likewise, they can't be placed in a mission or any indoor playfield. Not that this is a surprise. Just needs to be pointed out regarding their situational usefullness. Basically, IF you are a soloer out in the wilderness AND happen to have a nonstop spawn within range of your tower AND you dump points into Mechanical Engineering you can probably get a small benefit IF you are a profession who is able to solo out of doors with your character right now.

I'll give the benefit of the doubt and hope that Service Towers tailored for the various professions will be added in the next patch.

I think I´ll wait a few months & then maybe buy NW,
that is if FC adds anything nice for my profession.

I sure as he** dont have any IP´s to spare for some wen wen tower.
