Thread: Super Duper Fixer Feature - Ermm, where is it?

  1. #61

    Factoid Bump

I'd LOVE to get an ETA on this.

For a factoid, and an interesting thing for the dev's to hear if they wanna increase their office music. Yesterday marked the release of the new Pat Metheny Group CD, "Speaking Of Now." Don't know who they are? Surprising, since they are the only group in NARAS histrory to have won 7 consecutive grammy awards for 7 consecutive albums. (This is also the first CD from the group in 4 years.... the players have released a ton of stuff since then) Still don't know him? Well... as much as I hate to bring it up... you remember that tune that David Bowie sang called, "This is Not America" ?? That's his tune..... oh... as was the soundtrack to "The Falcon and the Snowman", which that tune was written for. (That one's for all you old timer's out there who KNOW who timothy hutton is)

Gee, i wonder how much s.e.x u would have to have, to use same amount of calories as a regular fixer run?

/me decides to join in the fact giving thing

No word in the English language rhymes with month, orange, silver or purple

The letter W is the only letter in the alphabet that doesn't have 1 syllable... it has three.

South Dakota is the only U.S state which shares no letters with the name of it's capital, Pierre

It is illegal in England to eat mince pies on Christmas day.

The Widest Bridge in the World is in an English town called Rochdale.

If an equestrian statue has two legs the air, the person on the horses back died in battle, if the horse has only one leg in the air, the person died as a result of wounds received in battle, if the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes

london is not the only place of interest within the uk. i hear that manchester and newcastle are interesting too (take a translator)

wearing a kilt in scotland was illegal around the 14th century.

ermmm, hate to disagree in this post, but strictly speaking glass isnt a liquid, its a fluid.

    well

i see, your cunning counter argument... hummm.....

well, saying that is a liquid is far easier than explaining the fact that it is not held in strong ionic (or is it covalent) bonds, in a lattice, like the majority of solids, but rather that it has weaker bonds that allow a certain amount of movement at room temperature.

you could argue that all solids behave in a fluidic stylie at high temperatures, as the bonds weaken as the atoms vibrate at a higher frequency, permiting an increased amount of movement, and breaking of bonds when electrons are excited into much higher energy shells (sorry, gettign a little quantum on your ass ).

basically, yes, glass exhibits some characteristics of a liquid, and some of a solid, it depends on the time frame.

i will correct myself. glass is not a solid. happy?

oh, and btw, why are you still wearing that damn cheerleaders outfit?

ok, I'll not get into the physics argument.. I studied for long enough.. and i dont care what anyone says.. its not science its really magic
that is my professional opinion anyway

you both used so many facts in one post! you used up a week worth of bumping material.. I think you lose points for that as i do believe we have a long wait ahead of us to get a responce... so I will evade your facts and ripost with 4000 points of factual damage with:

    Marilyn Monroe had six toes

    hah!

and you also take 2000 points of hidden bump damage

    :P

    an eta?

  12. #72

    nono

dude, theres so much more where that came from.... for example:

"theres no such thing as a free lunch" aka the no free lunch theory is an actually established theory in the field of artificial intelligence. it states that any two search algorithms are just as good as each other given an infinite set of search spaces.

you take 300 points of AI techno-gibberish damage.

OK, it's been a while since i was in school, but I think glass is just a amorph material. Could be wrong about this tho, so I guess it's not a fact.

    hrm here we go

A 'jiffy' is an actual unit of time for 1/100th of a second

"Stewardesses" is the longest word that is typed with only the left hand

In the 1940s, the FCC assigned television's Channel 1 to mobile Services (two-way radios in taxicabs, for instance) but did not Pre-number the other channel assignments. That is why your TV set has channels 2 and up, but no channel 1
