    Apotheosis 10 - Done in 3h after 8 Inferno high missis....

    In my opinion the 100.000 SK / Research Level is a bit to low... After 8 Inferno high missis we was in 3 Hours done with that...

    Progressive like 100.000 (1), 200.000 (2), 400.000 (3) would be better for longtime motivation...The stats are very nice, so let us have some work to gain it...

    On test i picked "give me 5 research levels" and was done, nice...
    (so it's less research than regular research, half i guess)

    But yes, many of us have a lot of alts so leave it as it is.

    I was hoping for trillions of SK to get like 75 more run speed or something stupid.

    This new rearch line is a very bad example of FC incompetence...
    Adding more TS, CL weapons skills and abilities is plain STUPID!!!
    The idea of saving AI perks for Alien Technology was OK but the execution is so bad that it only showx how incompetent FC is...
    This new reasearch should:
    1. Ignore character level and only check for AI levels - AI level 10=> permanent Alien Technology 1, AI level 20 => permanent Alien Technology 2, AI level 30 => permanent Alien Technology 3
    All other abi/weapons/TS bonuses are just TOOOOOOOOO MUCH !!!!

    Its just another example of bad design by *******...
    I ve been playing AO for over 12 years but those recent changes are strong push to make me quit this game ....

    i was hoping the grind for these lines was going to be super tiny. The game does NOT NEED MORE GRIND. playing more than 1 character at a time in this game is a full time job.

    New research line and its benefits make me think that Funcom has no idea what to do with AO.
    They show nearly no progress on new engine, there are no news about they've fixed HUGE amount of stuck points in Shadowlands (for example), rebalance is still coming soon.

    Adding more base stats to research is extremely bad idea, because they have plenty of things to balance as is, and new research line will only disbalance things more (due to current perk mechanics, attack mechanics and some more).
    Of course, such boost makes it way easier to twink specific endgame toons of specific profs/breeds combos, but I do completely agree that it's PURE GRIND now. It's not a challenge anymore to collect all the items you need for twinking at endgame. It's just about endgame armors/weaps only, half of which can easily be obtained while in active org.

    I look at the new research and see opportunity for weird builds this game is known for. Cookie cutter is boring.

    I guess I could hop on the complaining bandwagon also and say I really was hoping for trillions of SK for completely pointless things, but w/e.

    Funcom gives everyone a free cookie with AI3, but pitchforks come out because you want pie instead. ouch

    Indeed. Rihwen 1 and 2 is super crap now, hitting like a wet noodle.
    Just as i was starting to play my MP, for more than a buffet of tasty mochams...

    But sure, bad FC for giving us a lovely new research line...baaaaad... Or....

    You're aware that this line needs considerably less SK than the regular lines, right?

    Not sure if said already.. but each line needs 100m XP. Cap at 10m. to a total of 1b SK which is like a 10 normal line + a 4-5 lvl line..
