Hello, after new PC came the downloading of AO to play, i have tried this several times now and its frustrating the hell out of me. even to the point i reinstalled windows and ran all updates thinking maybe something else was wrong.

I download the client from AO website, and it doesnt matter, Old client, new client i get the same each and every time it try.

I install the game, seems fine i launch the game and it tells me i am on patch 18.8.6 and remote patch is 18.8.10

Cool ok go ahead selected display drivers, resolution. now i click patch

what happens is it gets to Patching file ap.exe 5/41 from 18-8-6 to 18-8-7_EP2.RTP

says cannot find the file and i may have to reinstall anarchy online......... Patch failed verify of new file failed possible internal error.

i have lost count the number of times i have done this. i have even gone as far as using a download manager to download the bin files 1 at a time to see if that helps. considering my connection speed at max is 200kbs download you can imagine how long downloading the game can take esp the new engine.

what do i have to do to fix this ?
