Where can A team hunt for good xp without a decent Engi?

People just dont want to spend time exploring it and so all end up in the same place.

Mort is one, City of Home in Broken Shores seem also be hot for the moment. People team up there to do missions for exp and loot. Lots of 100+ people there all the times I have visited that place.

What comes to that veteran camp you are talking about, it could be argued that most of the non pet users wouldnt BE there without the pet users since they can tank those mobs themself mighty 2 seconds and then they have to run.

Instead they wait for pet users to attack mob and leech like hell. Thats bad

Also before getting too much engie/mp envy, I can comfort you that the engie/mp hunting places are MUCH more limited than normal party hunting places.

Ofcourse you can always do engie or mp yourself if they feel too good.
