FC is based in GMT, so 10pm EST March 5th would be 3am March 6th for them.

AO dev team based in Montreal, Canada. FC is not based in GMT.

No. If you check the timezone link they provided the "event" is going to extend til 12 PM CST on March 6th. So either the timer is wrong or the 3 hour downtime estimate is way wrong.

ao dev team is being moved to the Carolina location. Not sure on the status of that move yet. That could be the real culprit here.

Let me know how you feel after paying for the game for 11 years and the same **** still happens.

Right now it's 7:30pm for me, I got all my stuff done already so I could sit down and play AO at one of the peak US times. I'm so so happy you get to sleep through it, but the majority of us will be here expecting the game we paid for to be working.
