Is the booster being tested and if so is there away to join the test?

I believe the booster is being public beta tested and shadowlands will be soon, but the only way to get in is for FC to ask you - there is no application. FC invited mostly dedicated testers from the test server, which makes sense to me, as they have endured the hardships of the test server to help out FC, why shouldn't they get some free stuff.
