    Lightbulb Super uniques

    One thing I would like to see in this game is items there only exist one of. These items should be named and have a background history.

    Like Excalibur, a unique sword for nanomage. Only the finder will own it until he losses it through a PvP combat, deletes her character or something similar. Then it returns to the playfield for someone else to find.

    Initial rumors about the items can be dropped by NPCs in bars.

    Any comment?

    Oh yeah, they should not be too über, but add a nice bonus.

    this would be cool, especially if they where unsaveable, so if you died in PvP your victor could loot them off your corpse and claim them for themselves

    sounds good, as long as tehy are easy to lose and have level requirements both up and down (so a level 200 cant go around taking all the level 75 weapons.

    as well as...

    if the character is above the maximum LV reqs for it, anytime this person dies, his corpse will be lootable for this item. if it decays, the mob/quest that gives this out will respawn(or once again possess it to hand out)

    now that we finally have a half-decent selection of items that will lower some skills and raise others, why not also have max reqs to go along side min reqs. as long as it's done reasonably.

    "you are too high lv to pick this up, go camp something your own size." --some new mob.

    Where the object then respawns should be random so the search for the object(s) becomes harder.

    I don't like the max requirements of objects to prevent people to own too much of them. Rather make it impossible to own more than 3.

    The only exloit I can think of is people trying to sell it on the ebay, so the item might evaporate on drop to the ground and be impossible to trade/give away.

    If you're making it PvP lootable, people will just sell kill-rights.

    Just avoid über weapons, but nice enough (bonuses or better look) to be desired by most ppl.

    Maybe even some of the super uniques should only give bonuses for guilds?
    Like owning a special chalice or pocal gives the guild a bonus in a skill or ability when the item is placed in a trophy room. Of course we need guild houses for this. And of course it would be possible to steal the item.
    Some items may give bonus to the guild if they are wielded/carried by a high ranking member of the guild. When or if the guild folds/disbands the items in the trophy room gets respawned unless someone remembers to take them out before the cancelation.
