On subject of Rome, could you add zoning for whole borders? Meaning not just gates but allow flying over them?

Before I defected from Omni to Clan, I recall that the zones on either side of Rome Red allowed me to fly above the gates in my Yalmaha; however, I don't remember how it was to try zoning above the gate from Rome Blue and the playfield beyond it. With which gates and vehicles are you having trouble?

I recall mention of terrain being blended in the original code for the new engine and that it had to be altered to allow for straight lines.
I wonder if something like that blending effect could be applied to armor textures to make mix matched sets look a LITTLE more natural?
Sure we can just social armor whatever now but even those sometimes could use the option of blending them a little.

They are at gates, would help if you could zone along whole border, it's realy painfull for dailys... Basicly you could cross at any point between borders of red-green/green-blue.

Saaaaay... Why do almost none of the buildings in AO have windows?
Don't you know? In the future, instead of windows, we have great big monitors that show whatever we want instead of the boring old view!
Also, dust gets in through windows, and RK being a desert planet... well!

With the new building they could make a video... sth saying "still alive" in the end.
Actually there are windows and the story line even backs it up very nicely with Ross always looking out over his Omni Empire from his office windows. But overall windows would be nice.

It could be faked somehow though (just like for jobe's appartments) but is it worth the bother?

Yes, but that's not nearly as fun to discuss
The problem is further compounded by the interior mission generation system. An area with a view to the outside would have to have a view to the actual outside of where you went in, or it would stop making sense at all. So better not to have it at all. Except of course in special instances where it can make sense, like the appartments and for instance the old arrival hall.

Whole RK is made of tunnel networks? Most missions are under ground so there must be miles of dungeons under ground...

I always thought the lack of windows was because of the two sun orbit. I mean how many day/night cycles pass on RK in 24 hours? That's got to be hard to sleep through, or even relax.
