This is the new weapon from patch rips, it now has FA, 0.5 Equip time, IMO MBS should be 2750 and crit bonus a bit higher.

Stats look like a dreadloch shen stick stats wise with added FA and lower equip time to me.

Could use some more ****ing up but as long as the mesh i better than shen sticks I'll be happy.

There was another weapon in the DB that was geared towards atrox, one that checks duck instead of evade.

I hope that wasn't a tease. According to the description it could be switched with a tradeskill with a screwdriver, to non atrox.

Um, does it have the MA combined attack? I think it must. Can someone post that as well?

Can't say I'm thrilled about fast attack. Also, any parry riposte stats considering at some point in the future, those will be useful?

I'm guessing i'de get about 50-80k more damage per minute depending on how much you hit/crit for and what you hit, how high your skill is (for recharge) so i'm not complaning for that extra damage

same as shenstick, that should be what you need for combined attack.

The multi melee is 1550 here, but when i looked up in game i saw 1750

Guess ill have to IP it more...Its surely a green skill we have there

Kuma is the japanese word for Bear. Kuma Tonfa doesn't make much sense though, since with the exception of bear bones I can't really think of anything off a bear that could make a tonfa.

Kuma Tsume would fit better, Bear Claws! :P

This got me a bit excited about my MA again. But still, I was kinda hoping for more than just FA added compared to shen sticks damagewise.

I haven't looked at real numbers but weren't the Xan weapons some of the other profs got a bigger improvement DD-wise than this? Anyone got any numbers on this? I'm at work so I can't really research it right now.

Still I'm exciting that we get a new weapon, just wish it was more. If they look better than the shen sticks I will still absolutely get them.

I'm disappointed at this development actually ... I don't want to use weapons. I want to use fists. I guess that's a minority position at this point, or not really relevant to FC's development plans for MA's.

Heh. The way things are turning out for MA's, I'd half expect to see pure Bow templates come out of rebalance. I'm not even sure if thats a good OR a bad thing. I'm so close to deleting my MA is not even funny.

Pro's: Slightly faster, longer range, Higher min, higher MBS, better mods, faster equip time and it has FA.

Cons: Lower max, much lower crit, higher MM.

Depends: Melee damage.

Now the most important thing is how do they look??

The item in the current DB rip is apparently just a shen with fast attack, as opposed the the more significantly different weapon in Xyphos DB from a few weeks ago.
