@Waahash: what version of AnarchyTalk are you using? The 2.0.x version should have better widget-code.

Android apps isnt supposed to have an exit button, the system takes care of that by itself. Just log off and leave the app and Android kills it when the resources are needed.

The icon in the notification area should disappear when logging out, but sometimes it doesnt if you get a timeout in the communication with the chat server.

And while there isn't an exit button per se, most applications that aren't meant to run continuously close when I hit the back button until I'm at the homescreen.

AnarchyTalk is made up of two parts, the UI and a background service.

The UI will close when you leave it and then reconnect to the service next time you open it.
The service should not close as long as you are connected to the chat server.

But if you have some kind of task killer installed it might kill the service and thus the connection to the chat server.

I just uploaded a new version with some small changes, hope that might get things more stable.

I have just brought a android mobilephone again. But "AOtalk Donate" version, is not on Android market anymore? Whats the reason for that? I have downloaded the free version of AnarchyTalk. But was just curios why you have removed the donate version?

There's a bug Im trying to fix that might kill the app when you start the GSP-player, not really sure whats going on, but it seems to be when the AAC decoder is loading. As for now: Dont start the player if you are waiting for important messages

Great APP!
Quickly becoming one of my most used apps.

I am having an issue with the service disconnecting if the GUI is minimized or closed. The service is still running but it is constantly disconnecting for me. Using version 2.4.2 on a Motorola DroidX2 via Wifi or 3G.

Also a small request. When the tabs are open, pressing the esc key should close the tab not the application.
