Its not OP in a crat i'm afraid.. you should see my dmg logs before pointing fingers at crats.
As you most likely know, its always a tradeoff. Check what those professions lose for using a AS scope, a EOE and a rh or rw AS implant, do the math on what nanoskills you need in each of those prof to cast the top nanos.. even in a "top" setup like full alphas except the slots i mentioned.
Might be a 'little' OP in ranged advies, but i think its overall balanced.

Oh... you can make AS hurt... just lose all mandatory OFAB parts for combined armor and get AS/dmg huds and utils... then a AS pistol crat will hurt a lot, ofc everyone and his mother will perk him, but thats not the point you're making.. or is it?

I vote to get rid of ANY weapon that has AS, except the obvious:
Scoped rifles.
And make AS take a while to do. like 3-8 seconds random roll.
Can I get a "hear hear" from gunfytr, esteemed artillery commander from 'nam, korea and any battle in the middle east in the last 20 years?

1. Remove the eye control alpha for a EOE/AS implant
2. Remove the right wrist alpha for a AS implant
3. Remove the right hand alpha for a AS implant
4. Change all my AAD OFAB parts for QL300 CSS
5. Remove a Infused Ancient Defender for a Dread AS thing
At this point, i can prolly cap 4k AS shots on you.
Losing the ability to cast IHM and loose another 100 AAD for casting only HM (i'm self buffed in battlestation, so without those symbs and with that armor on i cant cast it)
So, from OFAB gone i lose also 30 to evades , 150 AAD to add to those 100 AAD from the speech difference.
... wanna try it?
please take note : with such a 'uber' setup i would have to convince some MP friend to come to do BS with me every time.. my CC would be mostly gone, cant land crap with crappy nanoskills

Yeah mate, but remove AS after giving support profs a viable alternative. Don't remove it cause people are whining.
Thing is that the ranged advy toolset was already a bit OP before the AS pistol came to play, but thats not crats/engies/docs fault.
And no.. remod is not a viable choice.

Work on your setup a bit more.
wow .. so you can self everything without a eye and righthand symb and no buffing armor? Either nanomages are too OPed in nanoskills or your perk setup must be really weird.
