Picture from a local area called "Søby Brunkulslejer" after a massive landslide... Where a huge area of land, 100.000 square meters or so iirc, dropped several meters vertically down resulting in lots of underground water being forced up through the top soil, resulting in huge craters all around the area.
I spend a day out there trying to capture the scene... Did not succeed, even though I got a few pwetty pictures I think.
I love photography. At the moment all I have is a 10 megapixel point-and-shoot, though I will supposedly be inheriting a nice Canon DSLR from a relative soon. I don't have much to post; the bulk of my pictures are on my currently out-of-commission desktop hard drive, but I'll post select ones from my Facebook albums once I round up a few good ones.
Where was it when I first heard that sweet sound of humility?
It came to my ears in the god damn loveliest melody
How grateful I was then to be part of the mystery
To love and to be loved
Let's just hope that is enough
No, tried making an HDR, but stopped it because of Chromatic aberration on light sources left side. ( I had a 6 exposure shot of the scene and finally gave up in photoshop)
Gear:
Canon 450D + 24-85USM lens.
Mekh, you might wanna try shooting several shots and combining them to panoramas.
Edit, nice pics none the less. You used a fisheye lens?

All just raw images. Any alterations I had made are on my desktop...once I get it running again I'll post more.

The first seven are from around Colorado...hikes, camping trips, etc. The next three after that are from our Grand Canyon rim-to-rim hike a couple years ago (I have about seven albums full of pictures from that), and the last is just a cool looking tree from a hike on one of the trails here in Boulder.

Haha, I certainly wouldn't discourage that. Photography has always been a passion of mine, it's just hard to pursue when I'm perpetually broke. Regardless I think I've got a pretty decent collection of photos for what I've got to work with, if I may toot my own horn here.

You have some great pics here too, Shar. I checked out your DA and everything you've got there is really nice too. The sunset and snow shots especially caught my eye, I think those were by far my favorites.

I did do all that, but it was dasm hard to find a place with enough room around to really catch the scene.
There were always too many bushes or trees too close and too dense
One of my first experiments with HDR from my own garden...
Not exactly the best quality, but I kinda like it anyway.
Yarr. I'm in your thread spamming pictures.

Nice pictures, now if only I could manage to take ones like that...
