Thread: Annoying small things everyone knows about yet have not been fixed

    Post Annoying small things everyone knows about yet have not been fixed

    Some time ago it was announced that the devs will be working on fixing old issues, but it was stated that these things are not always known to the devs. So I decided to start a list, along with a brief description, with the intention of compiling these annoying niggles so that they could be better observed by the dev team. Feel free to post things that are still not on the list.

    The intention is to point out specific issues, with as much detail as possible.

    Next to the name of each specific issue is a date, showing the last time the issue was (re)checked.

    Huge thanks to Honorbound for the help in reformatting this list, condensing it and adding some missing issues.

    1. Zoning Issues

    Organization HQ door (broken, 2010-??-??)
    It is quite hard to enter an org HQ unless you know the specific spot to stand on; just at the depth of the door itself, on the right edge. Running right in won't work.

    AI city market doors (broken, 2010-??-??)
    The doors doesn't always zone the player in properly, particularly in a yalm. You need walk into the door, back away, then walk into it again to trigger zoning. Also, on the way out they sometimes put you inside the building geometry and you have to jump to be able to move.

    Zoning immediately after logging in (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Zoning doesn't work in the first 10-15 seconds after logging in. Items which trigger zoning (eg. recall beacons) will start the lockout timer when activated in this time period, but the actual zoning won't take place.

    Area change not initiated on server (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Could use exact coordinates.
    Several zones exhibit this symptom. In clan backyards, walking into the zone trigger instead of running seems to help; maybe this is a clue to fixing them? Most notably:
    • From (clan) backyards to the surgery clinic/apartment area
    • Exit door in Temple of Home after killing Beast (other Broken Shores entrances also reported)
    • Galway Shire to Clon****
    • Zone border between Galway Shire and Galway. Zoning ONLY works near the two roads, but if you run on the bridge, chances are very high that you end up in the water below the bridge on the other side


    Soft zoning/warp during nano recharge breaks nano program window (broken, 2010-??-??)
    If you're in nano recharge when an in-zone warping occurs (eg. teleported out of BS decon room, boss warp), the state display of nanos in the nanoprogram window gets reversed (grayed-out when available, non-grayed during recharge). Closing and reopening the nanoprograms window fixes this.

    RK / LE mission lifts may render teammates invisible (broken, 2010-??-??)
    After zoning up/down lifts, you often end up unable to see teammates. They show up as in range, but you get an 'Target out of range' message if you try to buff/heal them. Team buffs/heals, however, land.

    Broken zoning (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Could use exact coordinates.
    Soft and hard zone triggers that regularly put you somewhere else than you should be.
    • West exit of Omni-1 Trade sticks you inside a wall. When zoning back, only about half (south) of the doorway works.
    • Lush Fields (entrance to Omni Trade):
    • Northern zone boundary (everything north of this is impassable): 3585.0, 910.4, should be (based on doorway): 3585.0, 914.1
    • Southern zone boundary: 3585.0, 905.2, should be: 3585.0, 909.8
    • Zoning in temples is bugged: inside they're laid out in different directions than their entrances suggest, and they don't set you facing 'forward' when zoning in or out
    • Zoning in the classic backyards: sometime instead of zoning, you are warped to one of the corners of the PF
    • Exiting the cave on the east side of the 160 incarnator in Scheol puts you under the incarnator
    • Jobe platform to Jobe harbor faces you in the wrong direction


    NCU window loses sorting after zoning (Fixed!, 2010-??-?? Patch 18.4)

    Lift to APF gives wrong error message (broken, 2010-??-??)
    When going to S10 with a character of suitable level, you get an error message saying you must be level 185 to use the lift, which would only apply if you were above 150 but below 185 thus you couldn't get into S10 anymore, and not yet into the "old" APFs either.

    2. Zone and Geometry Issues

    "Four stairsets" room in SL dungeons and missions (broken, 2010-??-??)
    The following problems are associated with the broken geometry of this room:
    • Pets get stuck
    • You can jump through the roof and get stuck in the ceiling
    • You get stuck on the top stair unless you jump. If you jump, see item 2 of this list. If you have pets, see item 1 of this list.


    Eastern insurance terminal in West Athens (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Saving here then dying re-spawns players in a netherworld zone in Athen Shire.

    Missing name of Scheol Gardens and Sanctuaries (Partially fixed, 2010-24-11)
    Gardens have names now, but playfield maps broke.

    Rock path near Scheol "Greek" heckler bosses (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Could use exact coordinates.
    There are a few spots where the rock path dips below the zoning boundary, triggering zoning to RK while still being on the path. With higer than average runspeed, RK zoning may get triggered even when you still appear to be on the path (the server thinks you've fallen off, but the client shows otherwise).

    "Your ComputerLiteracy needs to be at least X" when someone else is exiting the grid (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Standing in the grid next to an exit and having someone else actually go through the exit produces this message.

    Tradeskill rooms of Clan shops - getting stuck in plants (Fixed!, 2010-24-11)

    Xark's Lair ramp (broken, 2010-??-??)
    In Inferno, by Xark's Lair you need to jump to get onto the ramp.

    ”Borg highway” in PW near north Cyborg Hideout (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Could use exact coordinates.
    There are two borg "camps" in PW (north one labeled "Cyborg Hideout" on CSP/AoRK, south one labeled "Liberty Omni Mine") connected by a little highway of sorts. The opening from the highway into the north camp has some invisible geometry such that you only have a tiny sliver along the east edge of the opening to run through. At any other part of the opening you hit an invisible wall.

    Wailing Wastes outpost stone stairs (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Could use exact coordinates.
    There is an invisible step/edge about 1/3 up on the stairs from the whompah in Wailing Wastes to the mission and reclaim terminals. When tyring to run straight up, you hit this edge and get pushed off of the stairs, or pushed against the wall to the right along the stairs.

    ”Ramp to jump off” in Inferno (broken, 2010-05-21)
    The invisible wall that runs along the path leading up to the jumpoff in Inferno reaches further than it should, so you can run into it before reaching the actual path, in which case the wall will guide you into the lava underneath instead of onto the path. Shortening this wall should keep this from happening. The wall currently ends at the following coordinates:
    - 1203.0, 888.5, 98.8 (1203.0 888.5 y 98.8 4005)
    - Pf Proxy: Model=51100:4005 GS=0 SG=0 R=4005, resource: 4005
    - zone: 2230, area: "The Crown"

    3. Map Issues

    Playfield map may be empty on login (broken, 2010-??-??)
    When you log in with the PF map open (in a zone for which you do have the map) sometimes it shows nothing but the empty window frame itself. Closing and reopening the PF map fixes this.

    Black rectangles may appear on the planetmap (broken, 2010-??-??)
    When panning the planetmap around, sometimes black rectangles appear on it (mostly in the areas which just have been panned into view), sometimes covering as much as half or more of the map. Panning the map again may or may not make them disappear.

    Black PF map on board alien ships (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Markers from map upgrades are displayed but the map background (rooms, corridors, etc.) is always black, regardless if you have already discovered the given area (as opposed to RK/SL/LE missions where the layout of the already visited areas is revealed).

    Planet map centering (broken, 2010-??-??)
    The planetmap often centers on a mission or shop marker when opened, and always recenters on the player when zooming in/out. Instead, it should center on the player when opened, and stay at the current position when zooming.

    Odd mission markers (broken?, 2010-??-??)
    Specific examples would be welcome.
    Some missions put an erroneous marker in the far upper left of the planetmap. I think it actually occurs only when a mission is selected which is in a completely different "world" (eg. SL mission being selected when on RK) so the coordinates at which the marker should be placed have no meaning in the given map context.

    Unwanted unzooming of planet map (broken, 2010-??-??)
    When zoning from SL to RK, the planetmap gets zoomed out by one level. This happens at least on 4-level maps, from level 3 to level 2.

    4. GMS Issues

    Takes 2 "use" actions to open (partially fixed, 2010-19-11)
    You need to "use" a GMS terminal twice in a row to get the search window to open. Still requires two clicks the first time using GMS after logging in, subsequent attempts seem to require only one click.

    Froobs / Sloobs can activate but won't get results (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Anyone can use it, computer literacy gets locked, but you only get results if you have the AI expansion; needs an error message for froobs/sloobs. Really confusing to new players why nothing ever seems to be available on GMS.

    Column sorting / order settings reset (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Custom column order and "sort by" column selection is not persistent and reset back to some default every time the window is closed and reopened.

    Hiding columns doesn't work properly (broken, 2010-??-??)
    If display of a column is turned off, the header is removed but the content of the column still gets displayed (for certain columns), but pushed into the content of the column to the left.

    Computer literacy lock dependance (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Certain items (such as Constrained Gridspace Waveform, org HQ tradeskill machine) lock computer literacy for a long time, during which you can't use GMS since it locks the same skill.

    5. Glitchy Items

    SL health and nano coils (broken, 2010-??-??)
    They do not heal the amount of HP/nano their description suggests; only the first hit seems to give the correct amount. Example of using a QL 50 Weak Coil of Nano Energy, described as healing 84 points of nano:

    Misleading "While wielding distance weapons" tags (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Items such as Flurry of Blows state in their description that they can be used when wielding distance weapons, which normaly would suggest ranged weapons (as opposed to melee weapons). Yet Flurry of Blows can only be used when wielding a melee weapon. Same applies to Deflection Shield Projectors.
    There are variations on the same topic. Adventure shields state: "Not: While wielding distance weapons."
    Regardless of whether the items or their descriptions are broken, this is highly confusing.

    Non-nestable non-containers (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Could use additions / confirmation.
    These items give a "Cannot nest containers" error even though they can't be opened.
    • Ancient Container


    Right-click equipping missing (broken, 2010-??-??)
    These items don't equip on right-click, even though they could.
    • Profiteer's Helper

    5. Glitchy Items - Continued

    Unnecessary uniques (broken, 2010-??-??)
    There are a number of items where the tag has outlived its usefulness, only annoys the playerbase and prevents selling such items in player shops. Farming-prevention of unique items can be circumvented by the mail system or by selling "lootrights". Some examples of unnecessary uniques:
    • Flurry of Blows: Gives no bonus when (more than one) is worn, has skill based lockout timer so even if more than one is owned, only one can be used.
    • Cloaking Device: only one can be worn / used at any given time, owning more than one doesn't make a difference.
    • Jobe Surveyor/Explorer/City Guard/Portal Guard Personal Pistol: May be unique to prevent dual wielding. However, they never are, since 2 variations of each exist: a QL140-159 versions and a QL160 version, and you can just dual wield one of each. Furthermore, the level range at which dual wielding these would be effective is quite small.
    • Finely Refined Notum: With the populary of Tier 3 armor having declined, possible farming of this item should no longer be a real issue.
    • Smuggler's, and other similar profession locked armor: They are not that special anymore, the unique tag only makes it annoying to try to get a buffing set of the preferred QL. For other types, being unique makes them too difficult to store and trade which deters people from using them.
    • Knight's armor (Omni/Clan): The unique tag does nothing to promote their use. They are rarely used.
    • The Extruder: Why would someone need to have more than one? And what would that matter?
    • Subdued flow of novictum: Fixed!, 2011-06-22 Patch 18.4.6
    • Empty Data Receptacle Container: The filled version is unique so you can't carry a lifetime supply of fgrid access items, but the empty one being unique is just annoying.
    • Hold Hell at Bay and other protective SL items: Two HHABs can no longer be equipped, so the restriction is less important. As with parts to these items, this could be argued to be some sort of farming-prevention mechanic though.


    Items with wrong names / descriptions (Partially fixed, 2010-11-24)
    • Instruction Disc (A DCSD containing 1 BBI Minami-90 Sticky Love Rain): Actually makes Call of the Maelstrom, hence the name should be Instruction Disc (Call of the Maelstrom). The description is wrong too. Applies to associated Photon Particle Emitter and Compiled Algorithm as well. The ID got fixed but PPPE and CA are still broken.


    Some items not equipping from backpack (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Could use additions / confirmation.
    Some items equip from bags, others won't equip at all, won't equip when right-clicked, won't hotswap or any combination of these. Such items include:
    • Fractured Nightmare / Sanity (can't hotswap INTO backpack)
    • IQ ring (can't hotswap INTO backpack)

    6. Messed Up Mechanics

    Hotbared nanos locking up after casting (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Example: Hit a trader drain, wait 5 seconds for the cooldown; the cooldown timer freezes at 0.1 seconds making another nano impossible to cast unless you jump and move around. Seems to happen with Improved Complete Healing lockout in particular.

    Nanos in the programs window may remain greyed out (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Opening the nanoprograms window during nano recharge results in all nanos remaining in greyed out state even after the recharge is over, except for the nano which was in recharge.

    Pets don't do sided/org damage against towers (broken, 2010-??-??)
    If you kill at CT with pets, your org does not get the victory.

    25% gas PvP range restrictions apply in some instanced 75% zones (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Example: Omni HQ, which is a 25% area outside, but those rules still apply in a mission opening from there, which is a 75% gas area; you can't heal a teammate outside of your PvP range, even though neither toon is flagged and the area is 75% gas. This may be the case in other 25% gas areas too.

    "Medium" and "Hard" solo SL missions are unavailable (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Even though you can choose from 3 difficulties when talking to the mission NPC, you'll always get an "easy" regardless of your choice. This applies to all SL zones where ACG missions are available, for both factions.

    Nanos running at the time of logout are recasted on login (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Example: If you log out near a city guard with Mongo still running, then log back in, Mongo gets recasted, hitting the guard, and by the time the login completes, you'll have a PvP flag (and an angry guard) on you.

    Battle station, "only 1 side" bug (broken, 2010-??-??)
    In some cases only 1 side gets into the BS. They don't get kicked for the lack of the other side, and the scores of both sides show "000" (instead of the normal "0" when both sides are present). The side that managed to get in can 4-cap which means next round they'll have a 4-cap from the start (when everybody is still in decon) giving like 250 score head-start.
    One theory is that when for example 25 Clans are signed up and 6 Omnis, the first 6 signed up clans are invited, but since all 6 refuse / unavailable, only Omni enters BS.

    Flying vehicles auto-level (broken, 2010-??-??)
    When moving while in an air vehicle, if you point the nose up/down to climb/descend, it very often snaps back to a level flight almost immediately or after a few seconds at most. This happens more notably when rezzing (every time your skills are updated), cyclic nanos are refresed in your NCU, or when strafing in ascent/descent.

    Raidforce scattered over several instances (broken, 2010-??-??)
    When trying to enter an instanced area (eg. Inner Sanctum) with a raidforce in the raid interface, members may end up in different instances even if some of their team members are in the same instance as the bulk of the raidforce.

    Traded items becoming invisible (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Sometimes after a trade between players, neither player will see the received items in their inventory until they zone.

    The shadow of a sneaking person is sometimes visible (fixed)

    HP bar discrepencies in team window (broken, 2010-??-??)
    A teammate's HP bar will sometimes seem permanently full (or at some other incorrect value) until they're inspected with T, which updates it to the correct value. A bug that's been in existence since 2001.

    ”Ghost” mobs in mission instances (broken, 2010-??-??)
    If you are too far away from the rest of the team (especially if on a separate floor), after having caught up you will see the mobs they killed as being still alive, but can't attack them.

    Negative runspeed makes strafing reversed (broken, 2010-??-??)
    If your runspeed goes negative (in Arid Rift for example), the strafing buttons get inversed.

    Some perks require a target for no reason (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Soem perks require a nano target even though their effect is not applied (only) to, or depend on, the target. An example of this are the Battlegroup Heal perks.

    Inspected equipment looks OE even though it isn't (Fixed!)
    When inspecting somebody, items will appear as OE when when they aren't on the inspected character, in slots in which YOU have an OE item.

    Init debuffs affect things cast by others on you (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Examples: Suppressive Horde perk, Elysium entrance nano, BS capping timer nano.

    "You cannot perform this action while falling" when standing on a corner or edge (broken, 2010-??-??)
    It happens a lot when in Battlestation around the control points.

    Unable to rotate character using mouse in some situations (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Examples: when sitting, or rooted. Can still rotate with keyboard.

    Relog from LD while character still logged in results in lost stats (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Bonuses coming from various "outside" sources (most noticeably org city and tower contract) are not re-applied properly or at all, resulting in missing points until you properly log off and back on (zoning usually also fixes this, but not always and not always all).

    Getting blinded turns fog back on (broken, 2010-??-??)
    When you have been blinded while having fog turned off, the fog will be turned back on but in Options it will still be shown as being off. Turning fog on and off manually fixes it.

    Yalms aren't waterproof (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Yalming up while swimming will give you a slow yalm.

    Saving in SL (broken, 2010-??-??)
    The save animation sometimes fails to play and your character is simply locked in place for the duration the animation is supposed to last.

    7. NPC / Mob Issues

    Inaccessible / bugged mobs (broken, 2010-??-??)
    • Penumbra Dyna boss Malah-Eadem doesn't have a valid path to be reached. Pulling via /pet hunt is annoying as it only works very rarely.
    • Scheol Dyna boss Coah (1438.6, 1293.1, 119.1 - zone: 2627, area: "Halls of Scheol") is permanently trapped in geometry


    Missing NPCs (Fixed! Patch 18.3)
    • Prophet Abad Mord. Gives Chosen insignias in exchange for Faithful ones. Found in Inferno Unredeemed temple.


    Oddly parsed NPC dialogue (broken, 2011-04-08)
    Could use a list of NPCs and whether the error is consistent amongst all players.
    Periods and spaces missing at the end of sentences, where the script waits for the next line.

    Pulcinella in Reet Retreat has been fixed!

    Service towers give debug messages when healing (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Could use confirmation.
    QL 75, 150 and 225 service tower text when the command /tower heal is used:

    Android Service Tower: DEBUG: Heal2 5
    Mobs using incorrect sounds (broken, 2010-??-??)
    • Rhinomen: Female Solitus voice when taking damage


    Mob position sync issues in AI city raids (broken, 2010-??-??)
    If a ranged character pulls the wave of aliens, all mobs get out of position sync for a while, making it hard for melee profs to get into attack range.

    NPC dialogue typos (broken, 2010-??-??)
    • When handing in spec 3, the professor says: "You reckognize this?"

    8. Camera Issues

    Rubber camera severely broken (broken, 2010-??-??)
    • Constantly gets stuck on geometry objects, especially when turning
    • Often starts at a corner of the playfield when zoning in and zooms in from there to the players position
    • Starts outside the playfield geometry (and in a corner) of multi-level indoor playfields after using a lift, then starts zooming on to the player only to hit the playable geometry boundary from the outside and get stuck on it


    Pit Lizard + Cold Blooded camera bug (broken, 2010-??-??)
    When an advy in Pit Lizard form uses the Cold Blooded shrink nano, the camera attaches to the point where the head of the full size Pit Lizard used to be, causing problems with walls.

    Camera issues with morphs (broken, 2010-??-??)
    The camera is attached to the head of the morph, but since the collision detection is more towards the rear of the morph, it's possible to stick the head (and the camera with it) into walls and other objects, which results in nauseating camera jumps. This happens at least with the nobob camera.

    Locked camera gets moved by objects (broken, 2010-??-??)
    In 3rd-person lock mode, when the character is moving at the same time as the camera is being zoomed in and out (via the mousewheel), if the camera hits an object, it will be pushed away from it's current position relative to the character.

    Player+camera rotation sensitivity is strange (broken, 2010-??-??)
    Right clicking and moving the camera up and down has different sensitivity than for moving it left and right. Left clicking and moving the camera has the same sensitivity for each direction.

    Can't turn camera by mouse when strafing (broken, 2010-??-??)
    When strafing, right-clicking-and-dragging to rotate the player stops you from strafing until the strafe key is released and pressed again.

    - The seats in the Org HQ's aren't solid (you can't sit in them). Maybe they've fixed this one, I haven't checked in awhile.

    - That message you get about not having enough computer literacy when you try to use the grid.

    - Under unncessary uniques can you add Smuggler's armor and the other similar profession locked armor types. There is no need to make those unique and it is quite aggravating when I try to trade a QL 200+ chest to find that I can't because somewhere in my bank I have a QL 51. I actually have to hold different sets of comp lit buffing armor on several froob mules because of this.

    - Instruction Disc (A DCSD containing 1 BBI Minami-90 Sticky Love Rain) I'm pretty sure that doesn't tradeskill to what the name states According to some posters on auno it actually makes Call of the Maelstrom.

    I keep thinking of things so just adding on...

    - I'm not sure how to classify this but I returned back to game in December and have noticed some frequent issues of mobs losing aggro and starting to heal completely even when you are full on attacking them. When I've been with someone else, this has happened if that person goes out of aggro range or line of sight even if others are attacking. A couple encounters that stick in my mind from the past week are Vanya in Penumbra and Sergent Janet in Avalon (Omni Base where Eel is located). This has happened to me so many times in the past month (solo and with others), however, that I almost ignore it now. The fix seems to be to stop attacking the mob altogether and then to start again. Its almost as if you have to force the mob to reaggro you (or someone in your team). I have only noticed this happening with named mobs.

    Battle station, "only 1 side" bug

    At the other hand... I get the impression Omni would not get a lot of vp's without this bug :P.

    Status: Remains broken.



    Profiteer's Helper not click-equipable
    This is probably only a personal thing seeing as only few people have the Profiteer's helper and of those few actually 'hot'-swap it. Anyway: it does not equip when you click it, and it doesn't have some action either when you click it. I would like to switch it more easily, eg from a hotbar.
    (I'm guessing they used a Clan/Omni tokenboard as a base to make this one...)


    Status: Remains broken.



    Sometimes difficult to get a whole raid (RI) into 1 instance.

    this was functional iirc. they have broken it in some of the recent patches (1 year old max i think).

    i remember trying to get same GS when i did some TOTW last year, and it was totally impossible getting same GS as my team mates. even though i tried just about everything like exit/reenter etc.

    In theory, yes.
    But the actual increase is only marginal, you get maybe 1 extra point to the upper boundary of the hp/nano hit per tick for each 5 seconds cycle, and even if you wait a very long time (comparable to what it would take to heal up only relying on your hp/nano delta), it still won't get anywhere near the values stated in the item description.
    All in all, it takes longer to heal up in SL because of this than in RK, even in spite of the lock time of the RK kits; between the use of the kits, you can stand up and move, but you need to sit still for the whole time in SL to get the same healing from a coil.

    A long standing problem, or more like an annoyance, really, if non-gameplay related issues qualify for this list.
    The GUI menu buttons, once expanded and collapsed, leave a "mask" behind that prevents any other menu buttons displayed later at the same position from receiving the "mouseover" event, thus they won't display their tooltips anymore.
    There is some order to which button will leave the "topmost" mask and cancel out the tooltips of the others; I think it is the last button that gets displayed in the given area of all the buttons that share the same screen area.

    Also, the problems with the camera in 3d Rubber mode:
    • It constantly gets stuck on geometry objects, especially when turning.
    • It starts at a corner of the playfield when zoning and zooms in from there to the players position.
    • It starts outside of the map geometry (also in a corner of the map) in multi-level indoor maps after using a lift, then starts zooming on to the player, except it will hit the map geometry from the outside and gets stuck on it.


    The yalm auto-level "feature" (any flying vehicles, actually). When you point the nose of the yalm up or down while moving to climb or descent, more often than not it will snap back to a level flight after a few seconds at most (and many times almost instantly).

    Oh, one more. Sometimes the playfield map fails to load when logging in. All you get is an empty window frame, no "No map available" message, no black rectangle in the window, just an empty window. If you close and reopen the PF map, it starts to work correctly.

    If we're already at the maps. When panning the planetmap, sometimes black rectangles of various size appear on it at random areas of the window, that may or may not disappear if you move the map again (but usually do if you close and reopen the map). Sometimes as much as half of the map area disappears into such black rectangles.

    Active Chat Window

    When you have several chat windows only 1 is active and reacts on pressing enter so that you can type. If you click on the channel name it changes the active channel of that chat window to the channel you clicked on.
    Ok, this all makes sense, now comes the issue: if you click the channel it doesn't change the active chat window! Even though clicking the channel is a clear indication you want to type in that chat window.
    I often found myself in the situation where I click the channel, press enter, start typing and then I notice I'm typing in another chat window where another channel is active . Very annoying!

    They not too long ago seriously broke the team instancing indeed and they fixed most of it. But not completely I guess, especially when you're with a lot of people.

    Totw remains likes this as well. Even 2 people at once. I can go into the instance then invite someone to team, then they enter the instance 2 mins behind me and go to a different gs. Then we try to get the same GS and it doesn't work at all.
    I remember a time when you ALWAYS got the same instance as a teamate that was in a instance. Then they broke it so you didn't. Then they broke it further trying to fix it and it made you unable to even zone into the instance at all. Now it zones in, but not to the same GS all the time.

    Another one:

    When zoning up/down lifts in RK missions, you often end up unable to see teammates. They will show up as in range, but you will get an 'Target out of range' message if you try to buff/heal them. They will get team buffs/heals however.

    Any zoning will not work in the first 10-15 seconds after logging in. If a player logs in and activates, say, Rubi-Ka Recall Beacon, the result is very annoying, since the item will be locked out but the player will not zone anywhere at all.
    Also, zoning in the first 10-15 seconds by meeping produces an odd effect for me. The meep will not zone me, and if I cast any nano after this I will get a 'Your PM/SI/whatever is required to be xxx' even though the skills window shows my nanoskills to be fine. Zoning does not solve this and I have to completely relog to fix it.

    Also, hotswapping IQ rings with other rings in a backpack will generate the message 'Temporary Items cannot be placed in a backpack'. Hotswapping the rings into main inv and then placing them in a backpack works fine however.

    I'm sure there is more I cannot think of right now...

    Edit: And for the love of god fix that graphical glitch on the ass of an opi female when they sit.

    You get hit with the debuff on Meeping w/o getting meeped. If you successfully zone you dont get the negatives of the nano.

    For some reason opening and closing a backpack can enable faster zoning. But this shouldn't be a solution.
    Taranide 220/30 fixer RK2 and now also RK1! Wait a second...
    Might have other characters too but I'm not so sure, always leave them camping something and there they are for few months.

    this isnt broken, and infact by design.

    i'm not sure where you're getting the "described as healing 84 points". the description of the nano doesnt say this. looking at the item effect details, it shows a single hit of 84. then an ncu-buff nano is called which then hits for for 42 points twice, with a 2 second delay. so technically, it is doing 84, but its split in half over a couple of seconds.

    One thing I think could be called bug is that when froob or someone just without AI tries to use it, it gives no feedback at all indicating that search doesn't work.

    You open the search (by clicking it 2 times ) or use that trader thing, put in values, click "search", your CL gets locked and that's it.. no search results, no nothing.
    "Why doesn't GMS work" kind of question is quite common in OOC chat.

    The stairs in SL dungeons/missions that make your pets get stuck. An old annoying bug that is still here. That damn room with 4 stairways should just go. Or be fixed.

    Side skill lock doesn't go down unless logged in. I'm not sure about this, but I'm sure that it's driving me nuts.

    That means a week of playing an uberly gimped char, while I wait for this crap to sort itself out.

    That is or was intended. To make side change more of a hassle and not something that you should do without thinking it through. I think it is also said on the side change form.

    I don't know if some things are intended, or the reasons behind them, but here are some things that annoy me:

    - Can still use special attacks like Aimed Shot when you're busy swapping weapons. Meaning you can basically alpha somebody with 2 weapons simultaneously if you use the specials of the first weapon just before the swap to the second weapon is finished.

    - Special attack buttons on your toolbar will falsely appear as "ready" when you swap to a weapon that doesn't have that special attack.

    - Equiping an item or weapon is paused when you run and attack at the same time, if you either press Q again or stand still, the equip loading bar will continue.

    - Mongo's hot and maxhp appear in your NCU seperately, the hot is hostile and can't be removed while the maxhp part is friendly and can be removed. Which leads to people abusing the hot by canceling the negative maxhp part (negative in the sense that it increases your pvp damage cap). You can also see the hot in target's hostile NCU window. Just combine the hot and maxhp into a friendly buff.

    - Some items not checking NR, such as root grafts and blind rings.

    - Some items not appearing in your NCU upon use, such as flurry of blows, speed stim, coffee, and tutoring devices.

    - Being able to get double buffs from tutoring devices with enough -skilllockmodifier.

    - Running faster when you're strafing than when you're running straight.

    - Your shadow sometimes remains visible when you're sneaking around.

    - Both faction being able to plant a Control Towers 20 minutes after a field is destroyed. I would rather see, if a Clan field is destroyed by Omni, then Clan and Neut have to wait 20 minutes to plant and Omni only 10 minutes, and vice versa.

    - Control Towers staying alive after you leave the corresponding org, which only encourages plantorgs.

    - If you sit down and somebody else uses a nanokit on you, then they lock your own recharge, which is different from first aid kits.

    - Members of an org without towers that attack other towers will get 4 hour flags that allow anybody from the other factions to attack them, but this also applies to people who attack towers from their own faction in 5% gas. In other words, if they attack a towersite of their own faction in 5% gas, they only get a flag similar to 25% gas, which isn't fair.

    - People being able to safely build a mech or turret inside a towerfield. You got 60 seconds before you can be attacked, while building a mech or turret takes much less time. So a total gimp can just run up to you and build an APT right in your face and there is nothing you can do about it.

    - The night-vision effect on Advanced Scent Sensor and Rat Catcher Goggles. Sure, you can turn it off by disabling "Show other effects" in the option menu, but then you also can't see when people are building mechs/turrets, which is really annoying.

    - Can't zone into player city shop building when under attack.

    - Can't remove your LE procs from your own NCU because it says they're hostile, even though description says they're friendly.

    - Brawl can stun even if it misses.

    - The Clan Tailor in Old Athen doesn't seem tradeable (only tried on neut and omni character, maybe it work on a clan character, but then he should at least say so).

    - If a froob searches something in GMS, they get "Waiting on query results...", instead of some error message explaining it's sloob-only.

    - /ignore doesn't work against private chat invites, which really sucks if the bot you're subscribed to is stuck in a crashloop.
