    How do you equate a GD with a DEVELOPMENT background (Sil had never been a developer iirc) saying the nano is intended to block CH, with him being clueless about the game mechanic?

    I'd wager Means (or any FC employee) has more idea about game mechanics than you.

    If you don't feel it should block CH, or see a problem with the design around the nano then say so, saying "he don't know s**t y0" just makes you look like an idiot.

    So now we have an answer about the nano, yes it is supposed to block CH.

    Now the Agent's cause is to deal with how easily the nano can be landed on Agents, or the available tools via the FP system.

    I didn't say it was balanced and neither did Means.

    He said it's intended to block CH.

    That's why I went on to point out the actual problems with the nano, like how spammable it is.

    Atlast you can use your brain to avoid ripper. Plus 2k NR is enought to resist nsd 50 of the time from a agent - wich ticks every 20seconds @ 10 meters.

    There are retarded AO pvp game mechanics long before GTH or RI even existed, all of which have a lot bigger impact then those 2 silly debuffs.

    Because complete heal is a fair and balanced defense to start with.

    RI, GTH, NSD, triples and so on are barely band aids, a real work on the reasons they have been added is needed to start with.

    Any sane agent would trade RI for Null space in a heartbeat. NSD also doesn't change the fact that RI is spammable either.

    Soldiers never have to think and weigh the drawbacks of casting RI before TMSing in front of an agent. They can easily just spam it over and over. You really want an "I win" nano like that?


    Anyways it's nice of means to clarify, not sure why that dude was jumping all over him but this nano is imbalanced regardless of TsOrb's rude behavior. The recharge should be much longer and NR check 100%.

    Read more, post less, if you did this you'd know there's a large rebalancing project in the works.

    RI didn't appear under the current regime. Means has already expressed that they're not afraid to change things in the interests of balance.

    I think anyone sane just has to agree this nano is far too easy to land and too spammable , and showstopper like that looks especially weird in the hands of profession like Soldiers that were never a debuff profession.

    CH blocker is a good idea for a nano, but it should be a gamble and a risk for Soldier, not no brainer spamming device.

    Maybe it would be even fixed already if so many people would actually discuss how balanced it is instead being in denial and whining for 15 months for clarification of its its maybe broken.

    I think it would be better if it blocked something like HoT's on a player so it would stop that person from being able to be affected by some time delayed healing techniques and maybe reduce the time of heal over time effects.

    It would look something like this;

    To Use:

    User Profession Visual Profession== Soldier and
    User Level >= 201 and
    User Matter creation >= 1251 and
    User Matter metamorphosis >= 1251


    On use:

    Target Resistance Short term HOT line 300%
    Target Resistance Fixer long term HOT line 300%
