Nano Transmission

I have two questions regarding nano transmission since I just perked into Embrace 10 last night.

1.) Could someone give me a hypothetical situation where this perk would be really useful? I am self casting BI and I'm perked into Specialist Healer 10 so I rarely lack for heal power.

2.) When I tested the perk it looked like it stopped draining my nano when it got down to 1/3. Can anyone confirm that this observation is true?

used it while we were passing TSS on guild raid as doc was me(220) and 210 doc, that's it. Used it and shouted on vent to stim me w nano, passed TSS succesefully .

to me it is a completely useless perk. The only reason I have it fully perked is the cost. No other reason.

If you could cast it on other playes instead it could be more useful...

Nano transmission refreshes untill you have X nanopoints left. Using auno you can see when it will not refresh.

I've had one theoretical use of it, when a soldier and me was offtanking a gen at apf35 and all my healperks were down aswell as his AMS. He was down to 200 ish hp before recharge was done sometimes.
