280 brain symb

It's very possible, my brain implant adds 65 psy, and I don't use fly catchers, burden, computing rings, VTEs or genius perks.
I used to have the 180 brain in and still have 781 psy but I felt it was a bigger sacrifice to keep +psy items in other locations where I could've had something better since I don't need the nanoskills from the brain.
Now with research we have another 35 psychic, which means I'd still have to put on more psy items if I put a brain symb on. I will consider the loss of the items vs the saved IP when I do the IPR, but I think i'm sticking with the implant.

Mamman, i'm neither 220, nor done great research into my attributes at that level, but wouldn't it be possible to self 780 psychic (worst case, with comp attributes) with the new psychic buffs from research, or is your equipment setup lacking enough psychic as it is already that the brain imp is the most effective choice?

as 220 trox, 781 is clearly doable, im missing 3 points atm with the equip in my sig (without OB without org contract and only inf symbs)
and i dont have the cancer NCU.

Burden and genius perks means a loss of 2 crit decrease and 102 brawl for me. Alternatively 2 crit decrease and the life lifeblood HoT. I think it's too much to sacrifice.

Now I wish I would have taken the time to put in the 280 brain while I was in perk reset. With the extra nano skills from the brain and the new research I could still self Mega Leviathan with 1 perk into notum repulsor. I also wouldnt need a cr and could deperk ai tech. Would be over 3k nr self with proc.

544 Treatment with trickle included. ((545*0.5)+(262*0.3)+(266*0.2))/4

So you're 24 treatment short of the goal atm, add in QL200 Universal Advantage - Medical Expertise and you're home free.

Final notes:
This isn't the only way to get this brain on, there's room for improvement in many positions, but I wanted to keep the really hard to get gear at a minimum. This setup has a few advantages in that area, namely:

• No implants are above QL290, so you can roll all the clusters you need with clicksaver.

• The V-Five Breathing space in left hand is used as alternative to a 2nd SoD for 2he/2hb enfs who don't want any IP in multi melee. If you normally dualwield go ahead and use 2x SoD for 4 points extra intel.

• You can camp the ring of computing solo in adonis catacombs if you want, no need to farm LoTV.

• Contracts used are covered by a single QL150 CT, no conductor of juggling is required.

• Setup is compatible with all factions.

Sorry, but this is a one-year-old thread. chances are, he's been changing his equip-thingie at Auno's since then.
