Part 1: "What's new with Lost Eden ?"

As soon as you are done researching all seven lines up to level 10, permanent boni will add up to:

    30 Strenght
    35 Agility
    65 Stamina
    40 Intelligence

    40 Pharma Tech

    100 Martial Arts
    25 Phys Init

    130 Pistol
    75 Ranged Energy
    75 Shotgun
    75 Heavy Weapons
    80 Flingshot
    10 Multi Ranged
    60 Ranged Init

Part 2: "Concerning Weapons - by which amount can a specific skill be raised ?"

Since we are going to see a couple of weapon threads during the following days anyways, we might as well have a glimpse on the numbers. Counting in all available perks from SL, AI and LE the following weapons skill enhancements can (theoretically) be achieved:

    100 1h Edged
    100 1h Blunt
    100 2h Edged
    100 2h Blunt
    100 Piercing
    100 Melee Energy
    250 Martial Arts
    25 Physical Init

    100 Assault Rifle
    100 MG/SMG
    289 Pistol
    290 Ranged Energy
    100 Rifle
    175 Shotgun
    56 Flingshot
    10 Multi Ranged
    60 Ranged Init

    175 Heavy Weapons
    100 Grenade

Obviously not all of these skills can be achieved simultaneously, and moreover those benefits require a different amount of perks / research levels.
To compare weapon skills nonetheless, I'll just add those numbers to the skills of a level 220 Solitus Doctor (abilities maxed, skills maxed, no buffs/symbs/city/whatsoever). This leads to the following results (results may vary depending on your breed, as mentioned I chose Solitus).

    1384 Martial Arts

    1234 1h Edged
    1233 1h Blunt
    1073 2h Edged
    1073 2h Blunt
    1234 Piercing
    1074 Melee Energy

    814 Bow
    1423 Pistol
    914 Assault Rifle
    1074 MG/SMG
    1309 Shotgun
    914 Rifle
    1104 Ranged Energy

    1074 Grenade
    989 Heavy Weapons

I think the passive stat increases are fairly nice, certainly from my own point of view the bonuses to MM-BM and MA are excellent, no complaints there.

If they fix the specials so they're not ranged only I think we can be pretty happy.

In terms of speed, I flew through level 5 in rehabilitation and 1 in underground in a few hours no problems.

    p.s nice thread

I'm happy with this since i'm grinding tokens at lvl 16 with 100% into personal research and getting something for the exp to suppliment my toon.

Now too better twink out my char so mobs in green miss's mobs are one-hit-kills.

All weapon skills, would be pointless doing the math otherwise.
Want triples nerfed? Here is what you can do (Don't be so retarded to apply this to todays game)

I combined the numbers above with clusters from implants, to see what you can get to a weapon skill if you max all associated perk lines + LE lines and put as many clusters in as possible, while keeping the "must have" clusters

These "must haves" are, in my opinion:
    Symbiant head
    Symbiant chest
Faded MM in left arm (the increased amount to 1 skill from implant helps offset the generally larger BM we have, instead of putting a symb in this spot for several stats we dont really need)
    Faded BM in waist
Shiny nano delta in right hand
Bright nano delta in right arm
    Faded nano delta feet

While symbiant eye is nice too, it is skippable as it doesnt boost BM or MM (again, my opinion )

I have used QL250 implants for the final QL, as these arent too hard to blitz
These gives 246 to a skill if all 3 clusters, (123 from shiny,

    1630 Martial Arts
    All 3 clusters works

    1480 1h Edged
    All 3 clusters works
    1479 1h Blunt
All 3 clusters works (same as 1he clusters)
    1270 2h Edged
    Faded waist clashes with BM
    1270 2h Blunt
    Faded head clashes with symbiant
    1431 Piercing
    Faded waist clashes with BM
    1197 Melee Energy
    SHINY cluster clashes in head

    1060 Bow
All 3 clusters works, but fades goes to eye (its counted here however)
    1576 Pistol
Shiny clashes with nano delta ! AND the faded is eye (its counted here)
    1170 Assault Rifle
    All 3 works
    1271 MG/SMG
    Faded clashes in chest
    1506 Shotgun
    Faded clashes in waist
    1170 Rifle
All 3 works, SHINY goes in eye
    1227 Ranged Energy
SHINY goes in head, bright in eye

    1330 Grenade
All 3 works, bright goes in eye
    1245 Heavy Weapons
All 3 works, shiny in eye

It is sad that almost all specials are based on pistol. That is hardly fair toward martial art docs. They should change it to work with pistol and unarmed combat.

After all Docs have two light blue weapon skills and they should be effected equaly.
Troll Commando, doing the dirty work that need to be done.

So it leaves us (after a little filtering):

    Group 1:
    - Astringent (Rehabilitation 2): 5% chance of a 1.2k init debuff for 1 min. BREAKABLE.
    - Dangerous Culture (Toxicology 10): 5% chance Dot D 550 dmg, 15 ticks at 2s.
    - Healing Care (Bedside Manner 6): 10% chance of 434 - 820 team heal. Some traders will cry considering it's as good as Accumulator 10. On the downside, the rest of the line is useless if you don't use pistols.
    - Muscular Malaise (Aggressive Surgery 5): 5% chance of a 900 init debuff and -12 to damage for 1 min. NOT BREAKABLE.

    Group 2:
    - Anatomic Blight (Toxicology 7): 5% chance of 2.5k init debuff and -8 to dmg for a min. BREAKABLE.
    - Antiseptic (Bedside Manner 8): 5% chance of 1133 - 1533 self heal. More heal can never hurt, but it'll require 8 points in a line that only buff pistol.
    - Blood Transfusion (Internship 3): 5% chance of 327 - 551 self heal. Not the best one, but still worth listing because it's the only decent proc in line 2 you can get with a few levels in a line. I'd recommend training it before going for whatever line you want.
    - Massive Vitae Plan (Internship 10): 5% chance of 485 - 970 team heal. Nice, though i don't know how long it'll take to train a line to 10.

    My conclusion:
Train Internship 3 and Rehabilitation 2 to get 2 decent procs quick (Astringent and Blood Transfusion).
Then go for Aggressive Surgery 5 to get the unbreakable debuff proc (might want get this one first depending on your level).
In the endlines, depending on playstyle, you may want Dangerous Culture for more damage or Healing Care for more (team) heals for group 1. For group 2, i'd suggest Antiseptic (pistol friendly) and Massive Vitae Plan (Agi and Body Dev on the line, not so bad).

GlaDos: There was even going to be a party for you. A big party, that all of your friends were invited to. I invited your best friend, 'the Companion Cube'. Of course, he couldn't come, because you murdered him. All your other friends couldn't come either, because you don't have any other friends because of how unlikable you are. It says so right here in your personnel file; 'Unlikable. Liked by no one. A bitter unlikable loner whose passing shall not be mourned.' SHALL NOT BE MOURNED. That's exactly what it says. Very formal. Very official. It also says you were adopted. So that's funny too.

well malaise and astring are both type1 so stacking those 2 i think would be out.

Curious if you guys get any confirmation message when a proc goes off?

the current word is that our perks being based on range (including the ones in the MA line) are working as intended, they arent supposed to ever work for melee...

At this moment the debuff procs are bugged: they debuff you instead of the enemy. At least two debuffs running in my own NCU all the time after I got level 4 in all research lines. Furthermore, they cannot be removed by any perk heal or virus scanner etc, and refresh whenever they expire.

Once the bug is fixed: Anyone know exactly how to use them? It seems that we don't actually need to trigger them and they will automatically happen with 5% chance, right?

Other professions (e.g. NT) are also experiencing similar bugs with debuff procs.
