    A look at Heal Delta

Everyone knows that if you buff your Heal Delta you will regain more hp per minute than you would otherwise.. I think we all can agree that extra healing is a good thing, but is it worth the NCU space? Worth the cash?

Lets take a look at it.

These are the buffs available for us as docs: Continious Reconstruction (+14) and Improved Continious Reconstruction (+65) (Blood Circle (+4))
Improved CR overwrites normal CR, but they stack with Blood Circle.

Basically, these buffs add XX to your existing healdelta.
Healdelta is determined by your Body Development skill. A Rule of Thumb is per 100 BD you get 1 Heal Delta...

The formula for calculating your ticks is (870-[YOUR STAMINA])/30 = Tickrate.

If you have 650 stamina you would have (870-650)/30 which is 7.3
This gets rounded up till the slower option, 8 sec.

    Code:
Chart over healdelta ticks per xxx stamina

    390 stam 16 s
    420 stam 15 s
    450 stam 14 s
    480 stam 13 s
    510 stam 12 s
    540 stam 11 s
    570 stam 10 s
    600 stam 9 s
    630 stam 8 s
    660 stam 7 s
    690 stam 6 s
    720 stam 5 s
    750 stam 4 s
    780 stam 3 s
    810 stam 2 s

Using my own gear as an example, i have 108 Heal Delta from items and symbs. With a little bit of "as-good-as-I-could-remember-number-crunching-in-skill-emulator" i found out that i have a Body dev of 1117. Meaning: another 11.17 heal delta. We can now look at the easy numbers (which is what most people will read in this post.. )

I am comparing these with Deathless Blessing, so I use 2minute 20sec as duration.

    Deathless Blessing
The healing range Deathless Blessing is 277-323 per tick. This means an average of 300 health healed per 5 seconds. Duration of DB is 2min 20 secs, or 140 seconds. We can make the following formulas.

    Without any healing modifiers
    300*28 = 8400 hp healed

(With full +%healmod gear (CFB, Shroud and maxed SH) we have 23% healmod)
(300*1.23 = 369 new average heal per tick)
    369*28 =10332 hp healed

    Heal Delta UNBUFFED
    108+11 = 119
(140/2)*119 = 8330 HP Healed over 140 seconds. 70 less than normal DB.(!)

    Continious Reconstruction and Blood Circle
    119+4+14 = 137
(140/2)*137 = 9590 HP healed over 140 seconds. 742 less than DB with MAX %add healing gear.

Improved Continious Reconstruction and Blood Circle
    119+4+65 = 188
(140/2)*188 = 13160 HP healed over 140 seconds. 2828 MORE than DB with full %healmod gear and perks.

The numbers are based on calculations with averages so the results may vary. Your gear may be better than mine in some ways, but these results really speak for themselves.

you forgot the generic +2 healdelta nano you get from general nanos

Isn't the +heal% bugged? IIRC, only the first tick is effected by it, not the others. Which, yes, sucks.

if you can afford the icr then chances are you have more ncu than you can shake a stick at.

It doesn't? I've seen the added % in the () in descriptions, never paid much attention to the actual numbers when the HOT healed... Ill leave the 23% numbers in there for reference anyway.

Yeah, it shows wrongly, anyway. If a fixer gives you a HoT, you see the healmod in the NCU as well, without getting more healing from it, and only the initial tick of your own HoTs gets better. On yourself. If you cast a HoT on others, healmod doesn't effect it, either. At least iirc, i think that was in the doc buglist as well. But might not be a bug. Dunno.

Proves to show that a healdelta of 119 is about as effective as Deathless blessing, then. 70 less over same time.
