They're gonna ignore this. I smell it.
All the devs are prolly working on getting the servers back up. Afterwards they'll come in here and say something like:

"Uh yes that's like, a minor issue. We'll put that on the wish list for next patch"

Change it back, or give an option to disable it!
I use the wheel frequently to scroll through my team/nano/NCU/map windows, and now I have to put the mouse over the hweel, and its causing me to frequently mistarget.
