When Nanostealth said to Thuggg in a team (yes i teamed with em) to be a good enf all you need is to "BE" a cactus, say it Thuggg, "I am a cactus".

When hunting the insane Alpha Males and Alpha Females in Tir Expanse as it was called back then was totally uber and insane xp.

When i won a pvp tournament in Tir with my main MA before MAs were considered good at pvp and even without any implants.

When you could grid into Tir but not out.

When there was a yalm scaling bug around so everyone would walk around as giants.

When i bumped into this Omni Soldier in Newland who had dared to use the grid to get there. He was lvl 104 and named Demono. He was wearing a wierd thing over his chest that gave additional AC and that you put in the back slot. I think it was called a "Thank" armor... It was damn new and flash at the time

When everyone used the island in Tir for missions.

When everyone finally thought: Man this island in Tir is sooo damn laggy, lets go to the OPs. And everyone did. So the OPs became the laggiest place in AO because people seemed to get that idea at the same time.

...When me and a MA friend were in our twenties with MAs and were trying out deflection shields on the rhinos.. ended up deflecting damage at ME..

...When everyone didn't have yalms and travelling was actually fun and dangerous..

...The first time I saw a kodiak, a guildie of mine showed it off in the omni forest outpost.. I just HAD to have one.. that kodiak i bought a few days later is still on my fixer..

...Back when NTs were uber with range, and mobs didn't regen HP, so I lvl'ed by killing lvl 150+ mobs in mort as a lvl 60 NT.

...Back when reet-grafting mobs was possible.. I found a group doing it in some borg crater thing in mort and joined up.. only serious exploiting I ever did, but was very fun, fearing the GMs would show up at any time.. which of course they never did, despite that area being populated by exploiters all the time..

...Killing ppl with my NT, actually killing some ppl with only 1 nuke.. gained up to Rookie.. lots of people PvPing back then.. kind of ended when so many ppl started twinking, so the regular ppl didn't bother as they didn't stand a chance..

...First time in SoM with the shadows of rubi-ka, me snarf, garzu (i think) and some others owned SoM on the first day, getting coats for all of us.. eventually the GMs got tired off all the high lvls there cutting off the low lvls' chance to get loot, so they spawned desert eremites there to kill us.. damn that was scary.. desert eremite actually changed name to "Your WorstNightmare" while I had it targetted. much fun..
