No chat available

Anarchy crashed on me when Windows XP performed the daylight savings time update last Saturday. After that I couldn't reconnect until Sunday night when I reset my computer, router and DSL modem a couple of times.

I can now log on but my entire chat menu is empty except for the vicinity channel which is red. The vicinity channel doesn't even work (I can't overhear chat or shouts on OA hill at all).

I've tried to run AOrepair, but it can't find the repair file on the FC site. Also I sometimes have touble going to the official AO site now too.

Any ideas?

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling AO, no luck..
A few more system and network restarts, no luck....
AO repair finally worked, but found no problems
Can no lonnger connect through the client to update or run the game (((
Connection to this site is now reliable though.

OK, new install and update completed.
I can still play, but the friends menu is still blank except for vicinity which doesn't work either. I tried resetting my router to defaults and but that didn't help either.

I noticed that there are 3 differens servers could it be that I just can't access the chat server right now?

OMG I wish someone had an idea.....

Yup sounds like you're just not connecting to the chat server
