why I should log in and do something? Preparation for LE? Escape reality? Feel good in all my phats, or lack thereof? Socializing with people I'll never meet yet have interesting backgrounds (real or fake) and can teach me something? Just a nerd who likes to pretend to be a fantastical creature? Cyb0r? Insomniac? In love with Edis? Collector of rare things, albeit virtual in nature but real in rarity and uncommonness? Like the graphics *snicker*? Keep my mind from going to the garbage? Not sure

What are your reasons for playing AO?

entertainment from a rpg that lasts longer then a week

but i just like the whole "built up toon" thing

and its always good to escape reality for a few hours...

yeah i really like the built up toon idea too. running around with really cool gear. But let me play devil's advocate and say that all that really cool gear takes a really, almost too long of a time to obtain, and you have to fight more than just monsters to get it: other players, politics, bots, and lag.

but hey if it was easy to obtain, then it wouldn't be that great, right? Then again, I think there should be more randomness and luck associated with it, like Diablo. That always kept me going, that at any moment, God may smile on me and bestow upon my character a coveted item,,, like a big ass flaming enchanted axe with skulls on it. But hey, we all have our dreams right?

I'm looking forward to Hellgate: London.

Maybe your answer isnt in your Keeper.
You should really make new alts, or maybe some twinks? They take some time and you'll get "addicted" to them

Star wars quotations are not ++ farming - they are an essential part of the "badinage" that form keeper bonding and general community spirit!

(Btw if you do level a clan alt on RK1 let me know and i'll give you some help etc Edis)

Yeah, I've already rolled an alt, it's level 31 I think atm, with frosty and all. Only things I need to get started up is credits so I can buy symbiants and stuff.

I'm not that picky about armor, tho, I can't say I wouldn't mind a full set of Combined mercs for every 20 levels.

Never!!! Won't waste my time with anything other than keeper. Until keeper has everything, and i mean everything. everything. EVERYTHING. everything. everything. every... thing. ever YTHING. anything, and everything. everything. something that isn't nothing and all of that.

I might go to RK1.
