IRRK Freelance - Yesterday, XenCorp Prime put a price of 200 million credits on the head of Professor Albrum Vein.

Albrum Vein was the leading scientist of the XenCorp Rubi-Ka Research Facility. The reason why XenCorp Prime wants him dead is because of his betrayal to the corporation and Omni-Tek.

An official of XenCorp Prime said, "Albrum has stolen valuable information of us and sold it to the rebels. As you can understand, we cannot let this happen without punishing him. Since we don’t have any permission of Omni-Tek to send a force to eliminate Albrum, we are putting a price on his head. The person that can deliver us his remains will be rewarded with 200 million credits."

The official also stated that a tip which could lead to the capture or execution of Albrum will be rewarded with 10 million credits.

What information Albrum sold to Clan is not known at this time, but rumors suggest that he sold the blueprints of a prototype battle suit designed for assaults on alien vessels.

ALL of Rubika need every edge we can get on the aliens, not just those few priveledged member of Omnitek that they arent willing to throw out on a whim.

XenCorp Prime and Omni-Tek can save themselves their bounty and probably their employees lives if they stay away from the Professor and those assigned to protect him.

The rumor of a prototype battlesuit is correct, in it's current state it is aproximately 15% stronger against alien weapons that the best available armor on Rubi-Ka. However such low percentage won't make a difference in a combat scenario.

Professor Albrum estimates the prototype has the potential to be 10 times more effective, which means that the battlesuit could (in theory) be 150% stronger than current available armor. However there are a few problems that remain, among them the lack of proper equipment to continue the research and development of project. Also the materials required are quite expensive and not quite legal to acquire through normal methods.

Another problem is that while the professor was in the employ of XenCorp he had at his disposal not only a well equipped lab, but a large staff of scientists. There are no clan scientists on Rubi-Ka with the proper training to assist in this project.

This means that what could take months in the previous work enviroment, the professor could take YEARS before the battlesuit is fully developed.

However there are good news. The professor states that even tho XenCorp has the funds and staff at their disposal, he was the brains of the project...without him it is likely that their own efforts will be considerably slowed down. XenCorp is unlikely to share any developing technology with the clans anyways.

The professor requested protection from MDSO, and if he requests his project to be handled by another clan we'll respect his wishes and escort him to the end.

Any foolish corporate drone (or mercenary) that even attempts to come near the professor will get their heads handed to them.

I do not know what this Atlantean or Rimor dimension you're speaking off. I believe those are the names of the first ships to arrive on Rubi-Ka hundreds of years ago. Only dimensions I know of are in the Shadowlands, you can access them through the dimension portals in the City of Jobe.

Due to MDSO's lack of funding Professor Albrum has requested his project (and himself) be transffered to another clan.

All his equipment and encrypted data was escorted to a secret location, where the Professor was securely handed over to another clan.

The professor requested that the name of the clan be kept undisclosed at this time.

MDSO wished him the best of luck and we hope the project benefits the clans.

In order of the XenCorp Council I demand the return of professor Albrum Vein and the battlesuit blueprints.

Professor Albrum signed a contract, 2 years back on arrival in our headquarters. That contract stated that Albrum is not allowed to change from employer for 10 years and he cannot trade or share any information of the XenCorp for eternity.
Professor Albrum can better remind the fact that he is now seeking safety near those that were the target of his previous projects. The persons that help him can better remind the fact they give help to one of their greatest foes.

If any XenCorp employee or property gets harmed or damaged, we will be forced to use voilence to respond. And I can assure you that the council is eager to use the 150 XenCorp Guardsmen and 67 Xene-Elites.

Even without Albrum we can continue our research on other projects in the armor & weapons sub-division. The Vehicles Research Department is not slowed down and prototypes will be tested soon

Also, in order of Herr Carnichown, the reward you will recieve for professor Albrum or his remains has increased to 750 million credits and tips have increased to 25 million credits each.
