sofc description - This type of spear was used in ceremonies where unwilling spirits were captured and forced to serve the living.
I have looked through the list of spears and all the ones i checked say noammo.
Can you drop it in your tradeskill window and check for a tradeskill?

I found a gas bladder from a mob in CoH. maybe that is used with the torch or something. I don't have much experience in there to test theories. I need to get a warp in there and look around.
has anyone gotten all the "cerubim" items and checked them for TS process's?

This is something I would like to know.
Who knows, maybe it has something to do with those utterly useless Kizzermole Tongue things, I mean honestly, those things are useless. Those and the Gumboils. Could be a possibility since walls shake and Kizzers fall from the sky in that one area.
I dunno, I'm just throwing random stuff like everyone else.
Edit: Also, maybe the message is using a pun-like hint. "Cerubin, my master." Maybe it has something to do with Gamboling's Master Wear, a longshot, I know, but who knows.
Edit 2: Also, maybe you use the bracer or some other item like a key or lockpick on the chest. I dunno if anyone has tried this yet, but if you think about it, those Keys to the Gardens/Sanctuarys give you stats upon wearing, but also can be used on the SL statues to teleport you?
I dunno, just a guess.

SofC has no Tradeskill processes. I think SofC is a red herring, but there are some related possibilites ... turns out SOME Shade weapons don't give the "Wrong Ammotype" but -instead- give an item progress bar. Even stranger is that the SAME shade weapon at DIFFERENT QLs can produce different results.
And, there are two items in CoH that this works on, the Capsule and the Obelisk ... and the same objects have the same reaction on them both.
There are 3 reactions I've found from BOTH the chest and the Obelisk so far (and I get the same reaction from the same items on my Doc as I get on my Shade):
* No reaction
* "Wrong ammotype."
* Item progress bar (no text, nothing else ... did it open something somewhere ELSE?)
(I listed what items did which reaction below)
NOTE: I tried dual logging and having 1 toon at the chest and the other at the capsule, and both using an item that gives a progress bar, nothing seemed to change. But, perhaps this opens something in another part of the dungeon?
I didn't have Gamboling Master's Wear on me when I tried this, Cerubin was cooperating on drops.

Bump to find this out. Hrm... Anyone tried stocking up on various items from a basic shop? Stuff like Hacker Tools and the like? Just cause well... um... who knows, it might work...
