mysterious chests in CoH

People ... its NOT WORKING. CoH came out before FC got overly complicated on spawning/etc so no ... they didn't think something up like using the chest on Cerubim while you're spinning in circles and typing "I love cheddar" in vicinity (wait, did anyone try it?).

They don't want to admit to half-finished content. They don't want to go back and fix something that so few people have ever seen. They probably get a good chuckle out of watching this thread.

Therefor they don't say anything. Sil goofed when he even replied in this thread.

If they ever remake it like they did Biomare and Steps then yeah, expect to see the chest finally working. But in the current version? Just forget it.

I tried it but it didnt work, but i did capitalize Cheddar tho, maybe that was my mistake.

Perhaps this is true, but then again, maybe we aren't doing something in the right order. Maybe its a simple order of teammates needing to be placed at certain spots and with the right coordination and command you can get these chests to open.

Then again..maybe not. But has this been tried before? 1 person at the "Capsule" near bane, 1 person near lever, one person near button near 2 necromancers, 1 person at the top button that makes the throne room open.

they looks like viralbots...maybe to make inactive viralbots active

I thought it'd have to do with the Spirit Tech Circlet but i tried alot of the stuff and found no possible way to open it. I never messed with Tentacles tho. Probably something funcom knows about but is too ocupied to fix (like the Holographic building in borealis ;D ).
Lets not complain too much about it tho, they got alot on their hands right now.
Consider the Graphics update and the new booster ;]
They'll fix it in time for sure.

The chest was probably something FC planned to put in game but didn't and was to lazy to remove completely.

If there was something to do with these chests, some one would have stumbled upon the answers/secret by now. The chest does nothing besides giving the people at FC a good laugh at how guilible the players are.

I think the Chest contains RK1. When opened the RK1 Universe will be sucked into the RK1 Chest and Spit out of the Rk2 chest resulting in our Server Merge.

Therefore the Chest contains the phatest loot of all - Full Teams and more PvP.
