If it's a bot, why don't you just make it sign people up when they request online:
/tell botfixr join
or some command that makes the bot add them to the list. just seems a bit silly to me to have to go through the forums to join a bot/chat.

Working on that, a little history, I inherited these from another player who set them up using IGNBOT, then dropped the maintenance when they got overwhelmed. At the time it was the only bot that could talk between dimensions.
As this was a major point of interest, I continued it in IGNBOT. I am now looking for another bot that will allow the RK1-2-3 chat and will allow auto-sign up/remove.
Suggestions welcome from all you 'experts' (currently checking out Vhabot)
