    Shadowlands Maps

I started on Rubi Ka a long time ago so I don't have any Shadowlands maps. Where can I buy them?

SL maps are a bit different than RK maps.
    • They're nanos, not map upgrades
    • casting them requires adventuring skill rather than map nav or nanoskills. (Yeah, 6 years and still no one knows what devs were thinking on that one.)
    • Most are locked to the adventurer profession, although the ones for Nascense and Elysium are not.

Most map nanocrystals drop from the "Yuttos **** geosurvey dogs", where **** is the name of the plafield where the map is needed and the dogs are found.

There is also a map in the veterans shop.

Sure they do, they were thinking that people in SL would team and require other professions to function

Oh how wrong they always are lol.

You can also get the Nasc map nano from the Jobe newbie area, as a reward from one of the Drake quests. I think that area has a maximum level of 50, or thereabouts, to enter.

You can get the Ely map nano from the General Nano Crystal terminals in shops on RK.

The map nano you get from the Veteran terminal is called Insight into the Shadowlands, and costs 7 Veteran Points. It has maps of Scheol, Adonis, Penumbra and Inferno.

For the larger planet map for SL, I use AoSL:

    and

How do I know how many veteran points I have? How do I get to the Jobe newbie area (assuming I'm lower than level 50)?

    Thanks for the help...

Thanks for the tips on the geosurvey dogs... I've seen a few of them around...

Here's a real noob question... where is the veteran shop?

    All about Veteran Points:

    http://www.anarchy-online.com/wsp/an...&table=CONTENT
That's an old article. There are more items in the Veteran Shop than that lists.

Veteran shops are located in Tir, Borealis and Omni-Ent. The one in Borealis is near the Newland whompa. If you are facing the Newland whompa, look to your right, against the wall. If you are coming out of the Newland whompa, turn left.

To find out how many Veteran Points you have, just target yourself and press T. The information will list how many, if any, Veteran Points you have. Here's a link to figure out how many you should have:
    http://ark.funcom.com/Public/vetCheck
Note that the Account Created date is based on being a paying customer. Free accounts don't get Veteran Points.

Getting to the Jobe newbie area:

If you know how to get to Nasc from The Harbor (via Jobe Platform), it's easy. Where you would turn left to take the bridge to Nasc, turn right instead and go up the steps and through the door that's ahead of you. Then head straight, all the way to the end of the transparent bridge. Drake is on that platform.

Thank you so much for the information... I'll check it out...
