Simply fantastic information. Glad this got stickied.

Now, who volunteers to write/enhance an player utility app that ties this information into a player's inventory so that it tracks what buffing items the player owns and calculates stats from items available; and an "Other Assets Available" list of items that can be borrowed with their stats being rolled into the configuration as well.

Very nice and informative post.

The only thing i sort of miss, but that is probably just be me that havent read the post good enough, is a table all the breeds and weaponskills, to see which skill you can get most in... Could be very useful for determining which weapon-line to choose.

Example on how such a table could look (X / XX / XXX / XXXX would represent the skill numbers)

Some other noteworthy items for use of buffing stuff... in no real particular order...
All I can really remember off the top of my head for buffing items I have used for different weapons and ideas of buffing items for different weapon ideas I've had... and yes, I know I use the LNT/MNT/HNT as a buff item, well when you're thinking of doing Melee Energy, that extra 30ish pts offered from thos tanks are pretty nice... anyway here's a short list - I'm not sure if Omni-AF armor does the same, I'm clan, so uhm, yeah, I'll look in to it later and add to it!

I'm planning to dual wield Kyr'ozch Energy Hammer - type 112s soon, after another lvl or 2, so I'll post up what I do for it if y'all wanna know

Twelve-Fingered Graspers of Ljotur - if you're not atrox, not a bad item for you to have for 2he buff
Right Sleeves of the Pest - also buffs 1he
Left Sleeves of the Pest - 1hb and 2hb buff
Superior Sentinel Armor Sleeves/Omni-Armed Forces Sleeves - buffs 2he & 2hb
Superior Sentinel Armor Gloves/Omni-Armed Forces Gloves - buffs Bow, Rifle, SneakAttack, FastAttack, and FullAuto

Notum Bladestaff - Good for hot swapping - buffs 2he

For a 21 doc, only few things that worths equiping is, CDR and maybe stygian when you level up some.. or minielectunicum.. and those are could be equiped with basic buffs from some professions because of their low requirements

Nice guide!

You might want to add the Grasping Ring to your +bow items.
Drops off Cerubin's tentacles and no longer counts as social armor.

Also, does anyone plan on including Ranged Energy in that list?
The Amplified Sleek Cannon as well as a Kyr'Ozch Energy Carbine - Type 3 appear to be nice options.
