A Railgun
Railguns have been a fearsome weapons wich have been used long time ago on Battleships and large venicles.
This beast accelerate aluminum slugs past MAC3 and spits them att your target. Very hard to aim but damage
wich it does are devastating.
However because of its large size and heavy weight it have never been adapted for use by ground troops.
All previous model desings have failed. They would still have to heavy weight or deal to little damage.
But with intoduction of nanobots some engineers from New Moscow in Domovoi Prime started to work on new
design. Years have passed and att end there was one nice prototype wich could be used by very strong
soldiers, however since att that time nanobot engineering was still very expensive the prototype and
copy rights was sold to MTI.
MTI started to work on Railgun few years before last corporate wars. Result was very future promising.
And gossip says that few of those prototype Railguns was used by clans when they have been storming Athen.
But because of all notum wich flow everywhere in Rubi-Ka some critical parts of those Railguns was
starting to malfunction and sometimes it ended in explosion and death of its user. So shipment of those
guns to Rubi-Ka was stoped.
Some years later Rubi-Ka's engineer society took a chalenge to adapt Railgun for Rubi-Ka. And result was
one heavy modified base of Heavy Gamma Beamer to wich was added:
2 extra energy packs
1 extra cooling system (even if railgun a slow weapon it still generates much heat wich can vaporize a leet).
1 Ultra Long Barrel
2 32xNano paste (used moustly to hold barrel togheter when gun is shooting)
1 MAC3 accelerator (Boss mob drops and from Ace engineer mobs)
And in result you get this toy since it is very heavy great strenght is needed to wear it as well as good combat training.
Also since this gun are so powerfull you dont really need to aim att some part of your target, you only need to hit it and
leave rest to Quantum Pshysics.
The Adapted Rubi Rail are suited for taking out large heavy armored and slow targets or buildings. Since the
gun need to accelerate the slug,fireing are delayed for some time after you pushed fire trigger.
Wich makes this gun very bad vs fast targets, but if you hit then result will be total satisfaction.
ESoRK (engineer society of Rubi-ka) wanted even to add Aimed shot option for rail gun but project was
shutdown after calculation of possible strenght which gun user would need to keep gun steady while he aim and
accelerate slug.
