    An interesting persona.

Naefen, the Opifex Agent of the Disciples, walked slowly towards the yalm he had hid away in the bushes nearby. If there were one thing he had learned from traveling outside the regular routes it was caution. Making sure there were no danger he un-consealed and jogged the last few meters shaking his head slightly as he always did when he was over-doing hes cautiones.
The Yalm he had purchased several months ago looked brand new still, but that was only on the outside. On the inside it looked more like the playground of a Leet Family. Naefen lived outdoors and when it wasnt safe outdoors, he lived in hes Yalm.
The mobile persona searcher he had borrowed several weeks ago from hes superior, General Xhairs, was stoved away in the back under a ton of garbage and gizmos he thought he might get to use some day.
"Damnit I almost hoped I had remembered to deliever it back to him." Naefen thought as he pulled the searcher out and turned it on. "Im gonna get yelled at over this thing." He smiled to himself thinking of Xhairs face going red again.
The persona device hooked up nicely to the Yalm`s own interface and beeped twice to let him know it was ready to work. Naefen got as comfy as he could and after throwing out a beer can and a couple of strange eggs with something twirled around it he could finally concentrate on the task ahead. (The eggs by the way he had found on some strange insect creatures but thats a different story)

    Naefen started typing.

    /XV Solitus
    /XI Female
    /XT 26-30
    /XW Omni
    Enter

The Device made a couple of beeps more than a low humming sound. "Oh man I hope it doesnt self-destruct." Naefen thought as he eyed the thing su****iously.

The device, witch was a bit old-fashioned, came up with a long list of names.
The thing that was so great about this particular device was that once you had given the most basic information you could speak the appearence of the person you were looking for and it would filter out the ones not matching.
So Naefen did. And at the end the only name on hes list left was that of "Katelin".
Katelin, was a beautiful Solitus Female aligned to Omni and doing her service as a Doctor for the organisation The Darkness Nova.
She had a long service-file and credited well in every task she had done. She were often seen with "Aulial", also from the Nova org and they both served under President "Brokton".

Naefen had heard about this "Brokton" and "Aulial" and didnt think they were the reason "Katelin" had that sad look on her face the day he saw her on the river-side. She were in a good org, she had good org mates and a great and quickly improving career in Omni-Tek.

Naefen leaned back, hands behind head and closed eyes. He could not get rid of the image of the woman sitting by the river with that sad sad look on her face. He had to smile when he thought about the way she had made him think she had spotted him. He wanted......... he needed to find out more about her.

He wanted to sleep but first he scrolled down to the bottom of the page on the persona device. "Ah, so thats where you live." Naefen whispered to himself then fell asleep.

A week went by. Naefen had spotted Katelin A.K.A Vicksun one or two times outside her home in The Harbor, Jobe. He was currently assigned to shadowing a couple of suspect characters in Elysium but had found himself spending more and more time in Harbor, Jobe... The white walls and floors of Jobe wasnt really suiting him and he felt kinda etchy strolling around there evning after evning. The darker cities, like Rome and Omni ent were more soothing to him.

He had asked a couple of friends and found out she were also employed as an agent. Silently, he cursed the old device he had borrowed from Xhairs. The device had helped him some, but the old fashioned way were always the best.

The night was fresh and the light fog provided him with enough cover where he was slanting on the wall opposite the street from her apartment. He had seen the light being turned off a minute ago and he awaited her to exit shortly. 5 hours he had stood there. And several nights in a row. She had better exit....

She exited. She was fit, obviously not poor and he knew she got assignments in a steady stream from the corp. What then made her despair? He decided to raise the odds a few notches and as she turned the corner, he followed. He was adept at stalking people. Even the best. But stalking another agent, or these new "Shades" was always a bit more risky. She was headed to Rubi Ka and he decided to find out where on RubiKa.

As she stopped infront of the whompas looking at the three of them in turned Naefen held hes breath. He was merely 30 feet behind her and he didnt want her to see him quite yet.
"Xhairs would flog me if he knew Im heading to RubiKa again" He almost giggled to himself.

She went in....and so did he.

The slight rain falling from the sky made Naefen`s mouth twitch. He couldnt remember one single time he had been around Reets Retreat when it hadent rained. Yet, the atmosphere outside the popular meeting place kinda needed the rain as a final touch he thought.
Vicksun had entered about one hour ago and none had entered or exited since.....
"She must be lonely......." Naefen thought and yet again looked up to the rain falling onto hes head. Wearing sunglasses in the dark didnt seem very clever he knew but aside from keeping the rain out of hes eyes these werent normal sunglasses.
He wanted to go in to her. Maybe buy her a drink..... Maybe two.
He took one silent step towards the massive building, then stopped.
"Now now Naefen.... You know there are people looking for you aswell in these places. Very nasty people." Naefen whispered for himself to hear only.
He couldnt risk being seen socializing on Rubi Ka. Not quite yet. The mission were far to important for that.
So he stepped back again. Picturing the unhappy face of Vicksun alone in Reets with only a cup of coffe for company.
He stepped back again, into the darkness that was hes home.....
